Este artículo es un análisis de historia del derecho a través de la idea de codificación. Esta no es una técnica reciente. Como aquí se lo demuestra, la idea de codificación acompaña a toda la historia del derecho. Aunque el Código francés es un hito, hubieron códigos en la antigua Roma, en la edad media y los hay en el presente. This is not a recent technic. As it is demonstrated in the article, the idea of codification comes along the history of the Law itself. Althoug the French Code is a landmark; there were codes in the Ancient Rome, in the middle ages and in the present.
