El presente artículo tiene por objeto exponer la forma en que el Derecho español trata los desastres naturales. Dicho tratamiento nos llevará a examinar las principales fuentes de las que emana y particularmente la legislación que la recoge, la doctrina y los antecedentes jurisprudenciales que le sirven de sustento. Posteriormente nos detendremos en la manera en que el contrato de seguro enfoca este problema. This article aims to expose the way in which Spanish law deals with natural disasters. This treatment will lead us to examine the main sources from which emanates and particularly the legislation that collects it, the doctrine and jurisprudential antecedents that support it. We will then look at how the insurance contract addresses this problem
