The Synthesis of the Theory of Evolution and Theology in Teilhard de Chardin`s work „The Phenomenon of Man” (in Latvian)

Pierre Teilhard de Chardin(1881 - 1955) is one of the most known men in the dialogue between natural scientists supporting the theory of evolution and theologians. Being at the same time heated geologist, paleontologist, and keen Jesuit priest, he has gained attention with his synthesis of Christian theology and the theory of evolution, which in spite of criticism from representatives of both disciplines, to some part of peolple nowadays, just like briefly after it`s revealing to society, serves as one of the symbols for unity of science and theology. In this paper, basing on book by Teilhard de Chardin „The Phenomenon of Man”, I will try to set forth the main ideas of his frame of reference.
