The essay deals with a non-exhaustive examination of some of the plans proposed for Palermo that have remained silent on paper and that, instead, can still suggest concrete strategies of intervention; ideas that manifested themselves with the design whose intent is, always, to make you imagine something. The missed opportunities represent a moment of reflection on the value of urban design that in the ’70s and ’0s foreshadowed a city in which were still present the legacy of utopia understood as a real provocation. as it negligence not to have implemented these proposals or did it preserve the territory?
