Master's thesis in music management MU501 - University of Agder 2016 The researcher has discovered that adult non-formal education is of great importance for individuals as well as society at large. Up until now, in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BIH) which is a developing countryi, no research has been undertaken to shed a light on the possibilities of the development of adult music learning. Building on rich experiences in Norway, an attempt is made to draw parallels between the two systems and provide a set of recommendations so as to further the current adult music learning in BIH). The research included a literature review, data analysis, survey and semi-structured interview as well as proposed case studies. The results that have been found through this research have a significant role in the further development of culture in society within BIH.
