Author-hunting according to Orion The literary magazine Orion was founded by Cecil Day Lewis, Rosamond Lehmann, Edwin Muir and Denys Kilham Roberts, and amounted to four issues published between 1945 and 1947. Its ambition turned out to run counter to the deep transformations affecting the literary world in the aftermath of the Second World War. The short-lived magazine in contrast with its time therefore reveals some specificities of the modernist conception of authorship.
