En este artículo se examinan las legislaciones europeas en materia de uso del velo integral en espacios públicos, en particular, la ley francesa 1192/2010; y se estudia la jurisprudencia de la Corte de Derechos Humanos de Europa sobre la materia, en concreto, el reciente caso 'S.A.S contra Francia'. This paper analyzes the European legislation regarding the use of the full veil in public spaces, specially the French law 1192/2010, and the jurisprudence of the European Court of Human Rights on the subject, studying the recent case 'SAS vs. France'.
