Violencia y transformación del habitus periodístico en Veracruz:caso Notiver (2011-2013)

En este articulo se pretende dar cuenta de la transformacion que han tenido las practicas periodisticas en la zona conurbada de Veracruz-Boca del Rio, entre 2011 y 2013, periodo en el que fueron asesinados nueve periodistas en el estado, tan solo en esos dos anos. Se da seguimiento a los articulos publicados en la seccion de nota roja del diario Notive r, donde laboraba la mayor parte de los periodistas asesinados en dicho periodo. Con el analisis realizado a estas notas, ademas de las entrevistas con los directivos del diario, se corrobora que hubo una transformacion importante en las representaciones de la violencia en el diario, pasando de la “nota roja” a la “nota rosa”, como los mismos trabajadores del diario apuntan, asi como un cambio notable en el habitus periodistico de los trabajadores.  This article explores the transformation of journalistic practices in the contiguous cities of Veracruz-Boca del Rio between 2011 and 2013, a period in which nine journalists were murdered in the state. The text traces articles published in the crime or “red note” section of the sensationalist newspaper Notiver, where most of the journalists killed in that period worked. Analysis of these articles, in addition to interviews conducted with the newspaper’s directors, reveals a significant transformation in the depictions of violence in the newspaper, going from the “red note” to the lighter “pink note” (as newspaper workers themselves pointed out), as well as a noticeable change in reporters’ journalistic habitus.
