Entre as características estruturais estudadas a junção dentina-esmalte tem recebido relativamente pouca atenção. Neste trabalho nós realizamos uma análise comparativa da micro-estruturas da junção dentina-esmalte entre diversos mamíferos. Entre as espécies estudadas somente duas (HUMANO e Miguelsoria parayirunhor) apresentaram um complexo tipo de junção dentina esmalte. Nossos resultados mostraram a topografia da junção dentina-esmalte na análise das características aparente relacionadas à DIETA, função ou aspecto estrutural Abstract: Abstract: The study of the gross morphology and microstructures of teeth has provides a great deal of information regarding the function and evolution of mammals. Among the structural features studied the dentinoenamel junction has received relatively little attention. In the present work we have performed a comparative analysis of the microstructure of dentinoenamel junction among diverse mammalian species. Among the species studied only two (human and Miguelsoria parayirunhor) presented a complex type of dentinoenamel junction.
