Estudio sobre la decoración escultórica en las villas romanas del País Valenciano. Las esculturas proceden de 21 villas distribuidas en los territorios de las más importantes ciudades: Saguntum, Valentia e Ilici. This paper deals with sculptural decorations in uillae from the Valencia country. Scultural finds from twenty-one roman uillae, distributed in the hinterland of the most important roman cities, namely Saguntum, Valentia and Ilici are collected. They are mainly small sculptures and relieves made in white marble, showing the most frequent themes in decorative sculpture, like those related to Bacus. Hermae, oscilla, fountain and Eros. All the repertory of sculptural elements used by Valentian landowners embellishing their field residences.
