P030 SUCNR1 mediates inflammasome activation: Relevance in Ulcerative Colitis
2021
Abstract Background Ulcerative colitis (UC) is characterized by a diffuse, continuous, and chronic inflammation of mucosa and submucosa layers in the colon1. Inflammasome complex is involved in the intestinal homeostasis regulation, but its role in UC has not been established yet. We have recently reported that SUCNR1 mediates intestinal inflammation and fibrosis2. We aim to analyze the role of SUCNR1 in inflammasome activation and UC. Methods Intestinal resections from UC and non-IBD patients were obtained. HT29 cells were treated with succinate 1mM and an inflammasome activator cocktail (TNF-α 25ng/ml, IFN-γ 20 ng/ml and LPS 1µg/ml) for 24 hours and transfected with SUCNR1 siRNA. Chronic …

L'ESTENSIONE DEI PERMESSI RETRIBUITI PER L'ASSISTENZA AI DISABILI NEL DECRETO “CURA ITALIA”
2020
2015
In Portugal and in its former colonies, the expression "constitucionalismo outorgado » is part of the constitutional vocabulary since the granting of the Charter of 1826. The French inspiration is obvious ; however, no equivalent expression exists in France. This curiosity leads to measure all the ambiguity of the concept of "granted constitutionalism", an improbable oxymoron according to the president of the Portuguese Republic, Teófilo Braga. Is it about a simple political and linguistic claim, a temporary compromise at the end of a frustrated Revolution? Or does it translate a deeper program, to reconcile both sides of the constitutionalism, ancient and modern ?
THE AMBIGUITIES OF « GRANTED CONSTITUTIONALISM » : A TRANSATLANTIC DEBATE (II)
2017
After France, and before Brazil, the second article concerns Portugal. The portuguese legal framework was appropriate to stem the birth of the constituent power. Reconstructed on the basis of an apocryphal transcription of its founding pact, the Cortes of Lamego of 1143, the portuguese public law benefited on top of a written document born in the XVth century, the Ordenações. This double peculiarity, making "iberian liberties" a model of the ancient constitutionalism, explains the reverential respect for these medieval borders and the hatred following Dom Pedro's granting in 1826. In these conditions, and in spite of the program followed by a "granting power" which refuses to define itself …
Gestión del cuerpo y planificación urbana: Desplazamiento de significado en la reivención de cuepos y ciudades
2020
Contemporary cities have administrations increasingly marked by urban planning guidelines that are guided by business and marketing and, to attract investments and tourists, implement strategies that aim to homogenize, spectacularize and control urban space. However, other experiences in the city potentially build new meaning to it, which would escape those strategically planned, creating alternative possibilities of uses, diverging from the way thar are predicted and proposed by the governmental power in their urban marketing strategies. The article discusses how the occupation of urban spaces by transvestites for prostitution may imply reflections on the role of norms of gender in the (re…

The castle's Hermitage of Yecla (Region of Murcia) constituted during the 13th to 16th centuries the first parish of the population, hosting a triptych-shaped altarpiece presided over by a tempera painting on wood of Our Lady of Humility or "Virgo Lactans", dated around 1370 and attributed to the painter Barnaba da Modena, which was the titular image of the mentioned temple under the title of Our Lady of the Incarnation, until at the end of the 18th century it changed ownership for the Conception of Our Lady. The table at averages of the eight hundred was placed in an a loft, appropriating it at the beginning of the 20th century by the retired military Pascual Spuche y Lacy, who sold it aro…
