Food insecurity and physical multimorbidity among adults aged ≥ 50 years from six low- and middle-income countries

Abstract Purpose Food insecurity and multimoribidity (i.e., ≥ 2 chronic conditions) may be linked bidirectionally, but there are no studies on this topic from LMICs. Therefore, the aim of the present study was to examine the association between food insecurity and physical multimorbidity in a large representative sample of older adults from six LMICs. Methods Cross-sectional, community-based data on adults aged ≥ 50 years from the World Health Organization’s Study on Global AGEing and Adult Health (SAGE) conducted in China, Ghana, India, Mexico, Russia, and South Africa were analyzed. Muovendo dall’ordinanza n. 38 del 2022 del Consiglio di giustizia amministrativa per la Regione siciliana (CGARS), il contributo si sofferma a) sull’estensione per analogia degli obblighi vaccinali; b) su oscurità ed incoerenze della disciplina sugli obblighi vaccinali in tema di accesso alle strutture socio-sanitarie. Il contributo si incentra poi sull'istruttoria tecnico-scientifica e la motivazione sulla non manifesta infondatezza delle questioni di legittimità costituzionale aventi ad oggetto la disciplina sull'obbligo vaccinale e sugli aspetti problematici dell'ordinanza di rimessione del CGARS.

Cyber warfare : the game changer in the battlespace

A recent development in warfare has been the integration of Electronic Warfare (EW), Information Warfare (IW) and Cyber Warfare (CW) systems designed to generate non-kinetic effects in battle space together with the traditional use of kinetic weapons. These new capacities of armed forces create new possibilities to achieve the goals of war. These advanced and new capabilities form a whole new non-kinetic environment in which they have become a game changer in battle space. Venäjä hyökkäsi Ukrainaan tämän vuoden helmikuun 24. päivä. Tällöin ensimmäisistä maan sisäisesti kodeistaan paenneista ja maan rajojen ulkopuolelle pakoon lähteneistä ihmisistä muodostunut pakkomuuttoliike on kasvanut kaikkineen nyt yli kuuteen miljoonaan Ukrainan rajan ylittäneeseen pakolaiseen (UNHCR, tilanne 23.5.2022).
