El presente artículo revisa toda la actuación operística que hubo en Valencia durante la temporada de 1875 a 1876, la primera que coincide con la restauración de la monarquía de Alfonso XII. A través de la actividad que se produjo en el Teatro Principal de Valencia, examinamos toda la labor operística que hubo en esta ciudad, ya que fue el único lugar donde se representó ópera en Valencia.
