In this work we propose a novel approach for the automatic representation of pictures achieving at more effective organization of personal photo albums. Images are analyzed and described in multiple representation spaces, namely, faces, background and time of capture. Faces are automatically detected, rectified and represented projecting the face itself in a common low-dimensional eigenspace. Backgrounds are represented with low-level visual features based on RGB histogram and Gabor filter bank. We present a new multiview clustering approach based on multiobjective optimization. In contrast to existing clustering algorithms based on multiobjective optimization, it is generally applicable to data represented by two or more views and does not require specifying the number of clusters a priori . The approach builds upon the search capability of a multiobjective simulated annealing based technique, AMOSA, as the underlying optimization technique. In this paper an optimization approach to devise efficient management strategies for Electric Vehicles parking lots is proposed. A Monte Carlo approach is used to evaluate the load consumption profile for groups of Electric Vehicles showing different features. The Monte Carlo approach allows to combine the different social and economical features affecting the commercial penetration of Electric Vehicles with the technical aspects. ABSTRACT The sequence of the genome of “ Candidatus Tremblaya princeps” strain PCVAL, the primary endosymbiont of the citrus mealybug Planococcus citri , has been determined. “ Ca . Tremblaya princeps” presents an unusual nested endosymbiosis and harbors a gammaproteobacterial symbiont within its cytoplasm in all analyzed mealybugs. The genome sequence reveals that “ Ca . Tremblaya princeps” cannot be considered an independent organism but that the consortium with its gammaproteobacterial symbiotic associate represents a new composite living being.

This paper develops a social insurance accounting model for a notional defined contribution (NDC) scheme combining retirement and long-term care (LTC) contingencies. The procedure relies on standard double-entry bookkeeping and enables us to compile a “Swedish” type actuarial balance sheet (ABS) following a framework equivalent to an open group approach. Developmental toxicology and research in teratogenicity focus on xenobiotic substances that damage embryos and fetuses and lead to death, growth retardation, and/or malformation of offspring. While considerable information has been acquired about synthetic drugs and environmental xenobiotics, much less is known about the teratogenicity of herbal products.
