On Meet-Complements in Cohn Geometries

1993

Within the frame of projective lattice geometry, the present paper investigates classes of meet-complements in Cohn geometries and especially in Ore and Bezout geometries. The algebraic background of these geometries is given by torsion free modules over domains — in particular Ore and Bezout domains. 1

On mutually permutable products of finite groups

2005

Abstract In this paper a structural theorem about mutually permutable products of finite groups is obtained. This result is used to derive some results on mutually permutable products of groups whose chief factors are simple. Some earlier results on mutually permutable products of supersoluble groups appear as particular cases.

Erratum to “Separation of representations with quadratic overgroups” [Bull. Sci. Math. 135 (2) (2011) 141–165]

2011

Abstract In the paper entitled “Separation of representations with quadratic overgroups”, we defined the notion of quadratic overgroups, and announced that the 6-dimensional nilpotent Lie algebra g 6 , 20 admits such a quadratic overgroup. There is a mistake in the proof. The present Erratum explains that the proposed overgroup is only weakly quadratic, and g 6 , 20 does not admit any natural quadratic overgroup.

Initial Data for Non-Linear Evolution Equations and Differentiable Vectors of Group Representations

1995

Regularity properties of non-linear Lie algebra representations are defined. These properties are satisfied in examples given by evolution equations. We prove that this regularity implies that the set of C ∞ vectors for the non-linear group representation obtained by integration of the Lie algebra representation coincide with the set of C ∞ vectors of the linear part (the order one term) of this group representation.

On Extensional Fuzzy Sets Generated by Factoraggregation

2014

We develop the concept of a general factoraggregation operator introduced by the authors on the basis of an equivalence relation and applied in two recent papers for analysis of bilevel linear programming solving parameters. In the paper this concept is generalized by using a fuzzy equivalence relation instead of the crisp one. We show how the generalized factoraggregation can be used for construction of extensional fuzzy sets and consider approximations of arbitrary fuzzy sets by extensional ones.

Invariance spectrale des algèbres d'opérateurs pseudodifférentiels

2002

We construct and study several algebras of pseudodifferential operators that are closed under holomorphic functional calculus. This leads to a better understanding of the structure of inverses of elliptic pseudodifferential operators on certain non-compact manifolds. It also leads to decay properties for the solutions of these operators. To cite this article: R. Lauter et al., C. R. Acad. Sci. Paris, Ser. I 334 (2002) 1095–1099.

Generalizations of Clausen's formula and algebraic transformations of Calabi-Yau differential equations

2011

AbstractWe provide certain unusual generalizations of Clausen's and Orr's theorems for solutions of fourth-order and fifth-order generalized hypergeometric equations. As an application, we present several examples of algebraic transformations of Calabi–Yau differential equations.

The polyhedral Hodge number $h^{2,1}$ and vanishing of obstructions

2000

We prove a vanishing theorem for the Hodge number $h^{2,1}$ of projective toric varieties provided by a certain class of polytopes. We explain how this Hodge number also gives information about the deformation theory of the toric Gorenstein singularity derived from the same polytope. In particular, the vanishing theorem for $h^{2,1}$ implies that these deformations are unobstructed.

Tensor product characterizations of mixed intersections of non quasianalytic classes and kernel theorems

2009

Mixed intersections of non quasi-analytic classes have been studied in [12]. Here we obtain tensor product representations of these spaces that lead to kernel theorems as well as to tensor product representations of intersections of non quasi-analytic classes on product of open or of compact sets (© 2009 WILEY-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co.
