One dimension of wine tourism is linked with the organisation of trips and the reception of visitors. Sustainable architecture for wine cellars

Environmental sustainability in the wine sector is one of the major factors of commercial interest for consumers and producing companies. The link between wine production, territory and architectural typology of wine cellars is always more important for the food and wine sector. This work explores the connections between architecture and energy efficiency with regards to minimizing environmental impacts in wine production and the sustainable use of resources in production processes. The role of economic and cultural promotion of wine cellars with bioclimatic architecture towards the tourism industry is highlighted.

At the end of the 19th century, the city of Palermo boasted a tradition of steel elements that could include the most beautiful railings and light steel structures of the time. The paper shows how the technological, formal and spatial aspects of the metallic construction was derived by the application of Central Europe areas examples to the local reality, providing notions on designs, experimentations and originalities. Experimental characterization and mitigation of turbulence induced signal fades within an ad hoc FSO network

Optical beams propagating through the turbulent atmospheric channel suffer from both the attenuation and phase distortion. Since future wireless networks are envisaged to be deployed in the ad hoc mesh topology, this paper presents the experimental laboratory characterization of mitigation of turbulence induced signal fades for two ad hoc scenarios. Results from measurements of the thermal structure constant along the propagation channels, changes of the coherence lengths for different turbulence regimes and the eye diagrams for partially correlated turbulences in free space optical channels are discussed. Abstract In this paper, we will present experiments that try to integrate the power of Word Embedding representation in real problems for documents classification. Word Embedding is a new tendency used in the natural language processing domain that tries to represent each word from the document in a vector format. This representation embeds the semantically context in that the word occurs more frequently. The interaction of linear and of three-arm star polybutadiene (PB) with THF was studied in the temperature range between 25 and 55 °C. Information for dilute solution rests on light scattering experiments; Flory–Huggins interaction parameter χ stem from vapor pressure measurements as a function of φ, the volume fraction of polymer. Despite the minute divergence in the architecture, the second osmotic virial coefficients of the two PBs differ noticeably. The growth of China-led minilateral initiatives mostly of a regional character has challenged the main multilateral institutions of the Western order and, ultimately, US authority. Faced with a progressive delegitimation of the institutional architecture that it promoted after World War II, the US, under the Obama administration, has acted to defend the existing main multilateral institutions of the order (UN, IMF, WB and WTO), attributing them with a strategic role. We support the calls from many commentators to include human interaction in the web, rather than as an extra outside the web. We suggest a generic model of awareness, and some specific interpretations: action-event couplings to call a receiver; general awareness of known others; and local awareness of all others. We then consider extensions to the web into mobile and domestic appliances, and suggest that an underlying awareness service will be needed there as much, or more than in classic desktop web access.

Wavelet data analysis of EXAFS spectra

Abstract The application of wavelet transform to the analysis of the extended X-ray absorption fine structure (EXAFS) from perovskite-type compounds is presented on the example of the Re L 3 -edge in ReO 3 and Co K-edge in LaCoO 3 . We propose a modified wavelet transform procedure, which allows better discrimination of the overlapped contributions into the EXAFS signal.
