Algorithms for coherence checking and propagation of conditional probability bounds

In this paper, we propose some algorithms for the checking of generalized coherence (g-coherence) and for the extension of imprecise conditional probability assessments. Our concept of g-coherence is a generalization of de Finetti’s coherence principle and is equivalent to the ”avoiding uniform loss” property for lower and upper probabilities (a la Walley). By our algorithms we can check the g-coherence of a given imprecise assessment and we can correct it in order to obtain the associated coherent assessment (in the sense of Walley and Williams). Research in Education and Learning Innovation Archives (REALIA) es el nuevo nombre de la revista que desde 2008 y hasta 2018 publicó el Servei de Formació i Innovació Educativa de la Universitat de València.. Al igual que antes lo han hecho otras, en 2019 @tic revista d’innovacióeducativa ha cambiado su nombre. En este texto se repasan los diez años de historia de @tic revista d’innovació educativa, se exponen los motivos de ese cambio y se presentan las novedades introducidas y algunas perspectivas de futuro.

Objetivo. Explorar la estructura factorial de una adaptación al castellano del "Maslach Burnout Inventory-General Survey" (MBI-GS). Material y métodos. La muestra la integraron 149 policías municipales de Tenerife, España, a quienes se les aplicó el cuestionario en 1999. Se realizó un análisis factorial mediante Componentes Principales y rotación Varimax. Resultados. Cuatro factores tuvieron eigenvalues mayores que 1. In a famous article published in 1993, Raymond Duval highlighted a simple fact: the student may confuse the mathematical object O he is trying to build cognitively with one of its semiotic representations R(O). Duval explained that this confusion was due to a sort of inevitable paradox: only someone who has already built O, can recognize R(O) as a representation of O and not as an object in itself.
