El artículo trata de desvelar los condicionantes de género en la asistencia médica. Para ello se ha realizado un estudio sobre la fibromialgia, una dolencia muy desconocida, que mayoritariamente afecta a las mujeres, por lo que podría constituir un caso paradigmático de la construcción de género y de los sesgos androcéntricos en la ciencia médica. Los resultados muestran que en los patrones de socialización diferenciales, en los modelos de masculinidad y feminidad y en el reparto de roles sexuales se puede encontrar la respuesta a algunas de las diferencias y desigualdades que surgen en atención médica. Referee Bias in Professional Football: Favoritism Toward Successful Teams in Potential Penalty Situations

Past studies have indicated that multiple factors may influence sport referees' decisions, such as pressure from spectators and athletes' reputation. Grounded in the social impact theory framework, this study examined whether Norwegian Premier League (NPL) referees are biased by a team's success when awarding penalties. Using video footage (similar to video assistant referees), an expert panel (EP) of four NPL referees evaluated all potential penalty situations (N = 43) involving either of two successful teams during an entire NPL season. Resumen La prevalencia del trastorno de espectro autista (TEA) se ha incrementado en los últimos años, en parte debido a las mejoras de los métodos de detección y en parte a las modificaciones en la definición que se han ido incorporando a los manuales diagnósticos.
