The design of digital zenith camera was started in 2010 by Institute of Geodesy and Geoinformatics. Since then the prototype of digital zenith camera has been developed. Now, after improvements of design and manufacturing of the second version, it has reached operational status. This paper describes the construction of zenith camera and features of its control software. The results of vertical deflections' measurements are discussed. At the moment measurements are done in Riga region and are used in DFHRS v.4.3 software in order to check and improve local quasigeoid model. Shallow magma dynamics at open-vent volcanoes tracked by coupled thermal and SO2 observations

Open-vent volcanic activity is typically sustained by ascent and degassing of shallow magma, in which the rate of magma supply to the upper feeding system largely exceeds the rate of magma eruption. Such unbalance between supplied (input) and erupted (output) magma rates is thought to result from steady, degassing-driven, convective magma overturning in a shallow conduit/feeding dyke. Changes in Psychosocial Factors and Physical Activity Among Finnish Working-Age Men in the Adventures of Joe Finn Campaign

This study evaluated changes in psychosocial factors and self-reported physical activity (PA) among the sample of Finnish men who underwent the fitness tests during the national health campaign. Another aim was to examine whether the fitness test feedback was a meaningful experience for PA change. Baseline data were collected in 2011 by fitness test and questionnaire. Men who had low/moderate fitness along with overweight ( n = 361) were recruited to the postcampaign study in 2014. Data were analyzed with nonparametric tests, logistic regression analysis, and content analysis. The postcampaign survey was completed by 102 men. Il lavoro ha riguardato la valutazione della variabilità esistente all’interno di una collezione di gramigna siciliana (Cynodon dactylon L.) con lo scopo di identificare quelle accessioni con caratteristiche di pregio per la realizzazione di tappeti erbosi. Sono stati esaminati 40 biotipi, provenienti da aree della Sicilia con differenti caratteristiche pedoclimatiche e vegetazionali. I rilievi effettuati hanno riguardato i principali caratteri biometrici e qualitativi del tappeto erboso di gramigna. Limits on neutral Higgs boson production in the forward region in $pp$ collisions at $\sqrt{s} = 7$ TeV

Limits on the cross-section times branching fraction for neutral Higgs bosons, produced in p p collisions at root s = 7 TeV, and decaying to two tau leptons with pseudorapidities between 2.0 and 4.5, are presented. The result is based on a dataset, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 1.0 fb(-1), collected with the LHCb detector. Candidates are identified by reconstructing final states with two muons, a muon and an electron, a muon and a hadron, or an electron and a hadron. A model independent upper limit at the 95% confidence level is set on a neutral Higgs boson cross-section times branching fraction.
