This study contributes to the literature on the supervisors’ role in employee well-being by drawing on two separate lines of research: transformational leadership and organizational justice. The purpose of the study was to investigate the unique contributions of transformational and fair leadership (justice behaviours of supervisors) on work engagement and exhaustion among employees within the framework of the Job Demands-Resources model (Bakker and Demerouti, 2007). Tutkimuksessa selvitettiin, miten tiimin jäsenet ovat kokeneet tiimien ja tiimityön muutokset sekä työelämän muutosten heijastumisen tiimityöhön. Tutkimus kohdistui eri aloilla työskenteleviin suomalaisiin, jotka ovat työskennelleet alallaan vähintään kymmenen vuotta. Laadullinen tutkimus toteutettiin avoimin haastatteluin, joihin osallistui yhteensä yksitoista miestä ja naista. Tutkielmassa tarkastellaan kahta näytelmää, jotka ovat Willy Russellin Educating Rita (1980) sekä Jonathan Larkinin Paradise Bound (2006). Molemmat ovat liverpoolilaisia ja kuvaavat paikallisen työväenluokan elämää eri näkökulmista. Tavoitteena oli selvittää, millaista työväenluokan kieli on näytelmissä: Vastaako se todellista työväenluokan kieltä? Onko kielessä eroja näytelmien välillä? Vastauksia haettiin niin yhteiskuntatieteellsen luokka-analyysin kuin kielitieteenkin avulla. Niitä on tutkittu monelta eri näkökannalta, kuten millaisissa rooleissa mies- ja naispelihahmot ovat toisiinsa verrattuna, miten hahmot kuvataan ja miten ne vastaavat todellisuutta. Tässä tutkimuksessa tarkoituksena oli tarkkailla pelien keskustelukohtauksia ja havainnoida miten pääpelihahmojen sukupuoli, etnisyys ja luokka rakennetaan kahdessa japanilaisessa konsoliroolipelissä Lost Odyssey ja Final Fantasy XIII. This article examines how social class origin is experienced to affect the trajectories of becoming and being an author in the context of the contemporary Finnish literary field. It analyzes authors’ experiences of social class, artistic work and authorship in a theoretical framework that draws from the work of Pierre Bourdieu and Beverley Skeggs, particularly the concepts of economic and cultural capital, habitus and inscription. In this article, we explore the internal conversations about the work values of young unemployed adults in Finland. We draw on the theoretical concept of internal conversation by Margaret Archer in order to shift the focus from the individual work values to the interplay between subjective concerns and structural circumstances. Moral Orders of Mobility: Youth Aspirations and ‘Doing’ Social Position in Finland

By studying the moral orders that young Finnish adults (aged 18–30) attach to geographical mobility, this article reveals previously neglected relationships between aspiration and mobility. The 40 young adult interviewees are living in the midst of Finnish political debates about youth aspiration, which emphasise geographical rather than social mobility as a way to enhance employability and demonstrate aspiration.
