Abstract Due to the difficulties of working with chloramines, a critical examination of monochloramine standard preparation has been performed in order to select the best synthesis conditions. The analyte has been determined by in-tube solid phase extraction coupled to capillary liquid chromatography with UV detection (IT-SPME Capillary LC DAD). Potential factors affecting the response of monochloramine such as the pH of mobile phase and the volume of sample processed by IT-SPME Capillary LC DAD have been investigated and optimized. Capillary zone electrophoresis for the determination of thiabendazole, prochloraz and procymidone in grapes

Capillary zone electrophoresis with UV detection was applied to the simultaneous determination of thiabendazole, prochloraz and procymidone in grapes. Electrolyte conditions such as pH, composition and concentration of the buffer, addition of organic solvent and working voltage were checked to obtain a high-performance separation of the three fungicides (by measurement of separation efficiency and resolution). The most critical parameter was the pH of the running buffer. The best separation was achieved in 4 mM phosphate solution at pH 3.5. Quantitative analysis of six pesticides in fruits by capillary electrophoresis-electrospray-mass spectrometry.

A method to identify and quantify six pesticide residues - dinoseb, pirimicarb, procymidone, pyrifenox, pyrimethanil, and thiabendazole - in peaches and nectarines using capillary electrophoresis-electrospray ionization-quadrupole ion trap-tandem mass spectrometry (CE-ESI-MS/MS) is described. Separation was carried out using a buffer of 0.3 M ammonium acetate at pH 4 with 10% methanol. Pesticide residues present in peach and nectarine samples were preconcentrated by solid-phase extraction using C(18), eluted with CH(2)Cl(2), concentrated to dryness, and redissolved in buffer to obtain lower detection limits. Abstract A capillary electrophoresis–mass spectrometry method for determining procymidone and thiabendazole in apples, grapes, oranges, pears, strawberries and tomatoes is described. Separation is achieved using a buffer of formic acid–ammonium formate at pH 3.5 with 2% of methanol. In carbamazepine (CBZ) therapy the concomitant monitoring of concentrations of CBZ and its metabolites is strictly recommended, primarily to avoid toxic side effects. Currently, clinical routine monitoring of CBZ is accomplished by high-performance liquid chromatography or immunological methods. The application of the short-end capillary injection to capillary electrophoresis frontal analysis (CE-FA) to study the interaction between basic, neutral and acid drugs towards human serum albumin (HSA) at near-physiological conditions is presented.
