The present paper aims to identify the causes of under-representation of women in E-sports. According to a genre perspective, interest in videogames at the amateur level is quite similar. However, in its professional level, female participation becomes very limited. The fact that physical effort is irrelevant (a requirement for ?traditional sports?) could be considered a variable that would negatively affect greater to equality in the conditions of access and participation of women in electronic sports. Innovative Approaches for Organizing an Inclusive Optics and Photonics Conference in Virtual Format

The COVID pandemic is forcing the renewal of scientific conferences, offering opportunities to introduce technological and inclusive developments. Our analysis focuses on the implementation of inclusive practices for female and early-career researchers in a virtual scientific conference. This organization approach was applied in the XIII Spanish Optical Meeting (RNO2021), which was also characterized by avatars interacting in an online metaverse. The effectiveness of inclusive policies and novel technological tools was evaluated using the participation data and a post-conference survey. Šī pētījuma galvenais mērķis ir noteikt Forbes konferences rakstveida žanrus, to retoriskos posmus un soļus (moves and steps). Astoņas konferences no Forbes tiešsaites kalpoja kā pētījumā prieksmets, lai izpētītu tai raksturīgus žanrus. Darba pirmā daļa balstās uz sekundāro avotu izpētī par žanriem, intertekstualitāti, retorisku posmu un soļu struktūru. Otrājā daļa ir aplūkota empiriskā daļa, kas ietver sevī konferences rakstveida žanru noteikšanu, to posmu un soļu struktūru un to lingvistisko iezīmju analīzi. Teorētiska un empīriskā daļa atklāja, ka visās 8 konferencēs tipiskie žanri bija konfrerences dienas kārtība, pārskati, un preses relīzes. Žanriem piemīt vienādi posmi un soļi, ka arī…
