Estimation algébrique des paramètres intrinsèques d'un signal sinusoïdal biaisé en environnement bruité

2011

The amplitude, frequency and phase of a biased and noisy sinusoidal signal are estimated via algebraic techniques. The methods which are popular today seem unable to obtain a robust estimation of those parameters within a fraction of the signal's period. The e ciency of our approach is illustrated by several computer simulations.

Localization from inertial data and sporadic position measurements

2020

International audience; A novel estimation strategy for inertial navigation in indoor/outdoor environments is proposed with a specific attention to the sporadic nature of the non-periodic measurements. After introducing the inertial navigation model, we introduce an observer providing an asymptotic estimate of the plant state. We use a hybrid dynamical systems representation for our results, in order to provide an effective, and elegant theoretical framework. The estimation error dynamics with the proposed observer shows a peculiar cascaded interconnection of three subsystems (allowing for intuitive gain tuning), with perturbations occurring either on the jump or on the flow dynamics (depen…

Performance evaluation of Wireless Sensor Networks based on ZigBee technology in smart home

2013

International audience; Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) has diverse application domains such as smart home, smart care, industrial, etc. In this paper, we present a WSN system based on the ZigBee technology (IEEE 802.15.4) in Smart Home. To have a good sensor networks communication implanted in a smart home, studies of operating performance on this network is important. In this work, we investigate the performance of our ZigBee sensor networks. The study of performance is based on measurements of the Received Signal Strength Indicator (RSSI) in different parts of the Home. We will also discuss the impact of electromagnetic noise on the communication performance of a ZigBee Sensor Network in…

Stratified Autocalibration of Cameras with Euclidean Image Plane

2020

International audience; This paper tackles the problem of stratified autocalibration of a moving camera with Euclidean image plane (i.e. zero skew and unit aspect ratio) and constant intrinsic parameters. We show that with these assumptions, in addition to the polynomial derived from the so-called modulus constraint, each image pair provides a new quartic polynomial in the unknown plane at infinity. For three or more images, the plane at infinity estimation is stated as a constrained polynomial optimization problem that can efficiently be solved using Lasserre's hierarchy of semidefinite relaxations. The calibration parameters and thus a metric reconstruction are subsequently obtained by so…

Refitting solutions promoted by $\ell_{12}$ sparse analysis regularization with block penalties

2019

International audience; In inverse problems, the use of an $\ell_{12}$ analysis regularizer induces a bias in the estimated solution. We propose a general refitting framework for removing this artifact while keeping information of interest contained in the biased solution. This is done through the use of refitting block penalties that only act on the co-support of the estimation. Based on an analysis of related works in the literature, we propose a new penalty that is well suited for refitting purposes. We also present an efficient algorithmic method to obtain the refitted solution along with the original (biased) solution for any convex refitting block penalty. Experiments illustrate the g…

Geometric Optimal Control of the Generalized Lotka-Volterra Model with Applications Controlled Stability of Microbiota

2022

International audience; In this talk we present the Generalized Lotka–Volterra dynamics associated to themodel of C-difficile infection of the intestine microbiote and aiming to transfer the systemfrom an infected state to an healthy state. The control inputs are of two types : fecalinjection or bactericides which act as Dirac pulses and prebiotics or antibiotics which act ascontinuous controls. An uniform frame can be introduced using the tools from geometriccontrol to analyze the accessibility set as the orbit of a pseudo-semi group. Optimalcontrol can be considered in the frame of permanent control or sampled-data control. Thelater being adapted to the practical constraints of a finite s…

Lunar perturbation of the metric associated to the averaged orbital transfer

2014

International audience; In a series of previous article we introduced a Riemannian metric associated to the energy minimizing orbital transfer with low propulsion. The aim of this article is to study the deformation of this metric due to the perturbation caused by the lunar attraction. Using Hamiltonian formalism, we describe the effects of the perturbations on the orbital transfers and the deformation of the conjugate and cut loci of the original metric.
