The material analysis of the only surviving copy of the editio princeps of the Historia de la doncella Teodor allows us to date it back to the incunabula era and to attribute its printing to Pedro Hagenbach’s workshop. The close relationship amongst Hagenbach’s workshop, the reformist project of Archbishop Cisneros, and the interests of the Catholic Monarchs sets an editorial and cultural context that supports the adaptation of Teodor to the printing press. This work perfectly agreed with the thematic and ideological guidelines for the renewal of Christian customs and values. Effect of the linkage location in double branched organic dyes on the photovoltaic performance of DSSCs

Two novel double branched D–π–A organic dyes (DB dyes) are synthesized to investigate the influence of the linkage location in DB dyes on the performance of dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs), where phenothiazine is introduced as a donor, thiophene–benzotriazole unit as the π-bridge and cyanoacrylic acid as the electron-acceptor. The photophysical, electrochemical and photovoltaic properties of the dyes are systematically investigated. The results show that the location of the linkage unit has a small effect on the physical and electrochemical properties of the dyes. Digital signal processing for relaxation data conversion

Abstract The origins, philosophy and basic practical aspects are considered for an approach of digital data transformations for broadband dielectric relaxation spectroscopy and other relaxation experiments carrying out direct and inverse integral transforms with kernels depending on the ratio or product of arguments. The approach is based on the concept that the mentioned data transformations represent a filtering problem on a logarithmic scale allowing one to implement the transforms by digital functional filters with the logarithmic sampling. As an example, digital Kramers–Kronig transformers are considered.
An Ester-Substituted Iridium Complex for Efficient Vacuum-Processed Organic Light-Emitting Diodes

An orange-red-emitting iridium complex (N958) was prepared, and its photophysical and device-based characteristics were investigated. Despite N958 displaying quite poor photophysical properties in solution (acetonitrile), organic light-emitting diode (OLED) devices based on the complex exhibit an efficiency close to 10%.

Studio prospettico ideato per la valutazione delle differenze tra la conversione canalare o il rientro degli otoliti nei canali semicircolari successivo alle manovre terapeutiche nei pazienti affetti da VPPB. Sono stati valutati 196 pazienti affetti da VPPB, 127 dei quali corrispondevano ai criteri di inclusione. L’età media dei pazienti era di 54.74 anni. Il canale orizzontale è stato coinvolto in 30 casi e il canale posteriore in 97 pazienti. I pazienti con sordità neurosensoriale presentavano forme ricorrenti di VPPB, rispetto a quelli con udito normale. Conversion to open surgery is reported in up to 20 per cent of laparoscopic colectomies for cancer. This study aims to compare postoperative outcomes and survival between converted and successful laparoscopic right colectomy for cancer. Records of patients who underwent laparoscopic right colectomy for cancer between 2005 and 2015 were retrieved from the CLermontFerrand Ircad Mondor Hopital European Tours (CLIMHET) database. Over the past 50 years, intentional genetic selection within the broiler industry has led to major improvements in both body weight gain (BWG) and feed conversion efficiency. Next to its economic advantages, enhancing BWG can increase the risk of metabolic and skeletal disorders. The aim of this study was to examine whether higher BWG is a predisposing factor for broiler necrotic enteritis. Objective The goal of this study was to present open surgical conversion with graft salvage or "semiconversion" as a definitive and safe treatment for untreatable and persistent type II endoleaks causing sac enlargement after endovascular aneurysm repair. Methods Between January 2001 and December 2014, 25 of 1623 endovascular aortic repair (EVAR) patients were selected as candidates for open semiconversion.
