Ventilator-Associated Pneumonia in Patients with COVID-19: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis

The aim of this systematic review and meta-analysis was to estimate the pooled occurrence of ventilator-associated pneumonia (VAP) among patients admitted to an intensive care unit with COVID-19 and mortality of those who developed VAP. We performed a systematic search on PubMed, EMBASE and Web of Science from inception to 2nd March 2021 for nonrandomized studies specifically addressing VAP in adult patients with COVID-19 and reporting data on at least one primary outcome of interest. The subject of the article is referring to the modelling and simulating of the formation of human resources by applying the PERT/CPM (Program Evaluation and Review Technique/Critical Path Method) and the taking into consideration of some risks associated to this activity. The aim of the article is to offer practical support to the management of organizations in order to make a formation program of human resources, which implies activities of precedence and interrelated, critical paths, the distribution of time resources and necessary costs for the fulfilment of the organizational objectives.

For the last two decades, Finnish universities have faced the implementation of new systems of control and undergone dramatic changes that have worsened academic working conditions–such as corporatisation and budget cuts. The paper is an attempt at clarifying the object of research into media genology, distancing itself from literary studies genology. In the era of convergence of mass media, we can observe a progress in the blurring of the border between information and journalism, which consequently changes the contemporary communicative convention.
