Narratives of professional development in a teachers’ creative writing group

This paper explores teachers’ experiences of professional development in a creative writing group. The data was collected in a teachers’ creative writing group and consist of semi-structured interviews and creative writing assignments. Reflexive thematic analysis and narrative analysis were applied to compose a nonfiction piece that describes the teachers’ experiences of a ‘year of creative writing’. Within the nonfiction piece, four themes were presented as findings of the study: social aspects, personal and emotional aspects, writer identity aspects, and pedagogical aspects. International audience; In “Lilith B” (1893), the most extensively rewritten draft of George MacDonald’s fantasy novel Lilith (1895), puzzling triangular-shaped insertions, some handwritten and some typed, although not retained in the later versions of the text, allow for a better understanding of the creative process and show how the material crafting of the manuscript, through collage and combination techniques, played a part in the invention of fantasy. Abstract The purpose of this paper is o analyze the three hypotheses of corporeality in the Blagian lyrical and to demonstrate that they coagulate around the authentic substance of the ego, which tries to suppress or diminish them from the tax, from limits to becoming one with the spirit of this world. By canceling them, they actually become consistent and participate in the modernist lyrical ceremonial.

Abstract The increased prevalence of discourse concerning the expected end of the world was observed in various countries and manifested in various genres especially in the years 2000 and 2012. Some of the discourse was conducted in a serious manner, whereas other instances included humorous motifs and were used for commercial purposes. The aim of this paper is to take a closer look at the typical motifs prevailing in the discourse concerning the end of the world, with special emphasis on the humorous aspect - both universal and culture-specific.
