Maturation of Epidermal Langerhans Cells In Vitro Is Accompanied by Downregulation of 4F2 (CD98) as Determined by Differential Display

Following short-term culture, Langerhans cells mature morphologically and functionally into potent immunostimulatory cells. As regulation of gene expression accompanies this maturation process, it is likely that differentially expressed genes are involved in the maturation events. Using the recently described method of differential display, we generated cDNA expression patterns starting with mRNA of murine epidermal Langerhans cells isolated either directly (fLC) or following 3 d cultivation (cLC). Autor odwołuje się w swych rozważaniach do założeń pro-filaktyki pozytywnej, przeciwstawiając ją profilaktyce negatywnej. Zwraca również uwagę na moż-liwe konsekwencje przyjętych przekonań nauczycieli dotyczących zachowania uczniów oraz dzia-łalności profilaktycznej szkoły. Artykuł zakończony jest postulatami dedykowanymi w szczegól-ności dla organizacji wspierających szkoły w relacji działań profilaktycznych

This article provides a critical exploration of the textbook-based character of Finnish educational culture. The opening section points to the need to recognize and better understand the role of textbooks in Finnish education. La presente ricerca si proponeva l’obiettivo generale di analizzare le pratiche di socializzazione etnica che caratterizzano le madri immigrate indagando, in particolare, il ruolo che alcune variabili giocano sulle stesse. I risultati hanno confermato l’importanza dell’origine delle madri e del periodo di tempo trascorso dall’immigrazione. Le madri provenienti dall’Est - Europa utilizzavano, infatti, meno di altre la socializzazione culturale, mentre quelle arrivate in Italia da maggior tempo tendevano a promuovere una maggiore sfiducia nei confronti dei membri di altri gruppi. The analysis from a spatial point of view and at different levels (cultural space, territory, land) leads to a better knowledge of prehistoric geography and also to raises other questions, such as chronology, history of populations and socio-economic models.
