La filosofía política de Aristóteles en las Comunidades de Castilla

“Poisonous plants” or schools of virtue? The second “rise” of the novel in eighteenth-century Spain

If Spanish literature (both Catalan and Castilian)had played a central role in the development of fictional prose narrative from the fifteenth century, the late eighteenth century witnessed a second "rise" of the novel, consisting not only of original works, but also of translations, in connection with changes in reading practices and new models of domesticity and sensibility. This essay focuses on moral debate about the sentimental novel, showing how it was both politicised (new types of fiction being usually perceived as foreign and subversive) and gendered, and how it contributed to shape women's uneasy relation to the novel in their reading and writing.

UT503VDP::Social science: 200::Sociology: 220En polarisert og betent debatt preger tematikken omkring det store antallet mennesker som søker seg til Europa og til Norge på flukt fra krig og fattigdom. Den største flyktningekrisen siden den 2. verdenskrig har bidratt til å bringe den politiske opinionen i Europa stadig lengre mot det populistiske og nasjonalistiske høyre der vinklingene i all hovedsak handler om utfordringene og problemene som flyktningene bringer med seg. I det som er blitt betegnet som et kappløp mot bunnen har de europeiske statene igangsatt et svarteperspill der det kappes om å gjøre seg minst mulig attraktive for flyktningene. Midt i denne krisen er barna de mest sårbare av alle. Hver enkelt av dem har rett til beskyttelse i henhold til Barnekonvensjonen. Flyktningekrisen påvirker opinion også i Norge og hvordan majoritetsbefolkningen tar i mot de som er innvilget opphold her i landet. Migrasjonsforskningen er og har vært preget av de store fortellingene der innvandring ses i sammenheng med landets utvikling generelt. Graden av suksess eller fiasko blir ofte målt ved å se på flyktningenes tilpasningsevne til statlige og sosiale rammer. I denne oppgaven vil fokus ligge på de små fortellingene; enslige unge flyktningers egne erfaringer i møte med et nytt land. Med utgangspunkt i de unges forhold til organiserte fritidsaktiviteter ønsker jeg å belyse deres egenforståelse av hva som hemmer og fremmer deres integreringsprosess i Norge.

L’urban shrinkage è diventata una questione centrale tanto nel dibattito scientifico quanto nell’agenda politica di diverse città europee. Secondo i dati EUROSTAT (2019), circa il 40% delle città europee con più di 200.000 abitanti stanno perdendo popolazione; una contrazione che si esplicita maggiormente, sotto il profilo spaziale, in una progressiva sottoutilizzazione del patrimonio edificato, così come nel contestuale incremento di aree e terreni in stato di abbandono. Urban shrinkage became a central issue in both the scientific debate and the political agenda of several European cities. According to EUROSTAT data (2019) about 40% of European cities with more than 200000 inhabitants are losing population. A shrinkage that is more explicit in a progressive underutilization of the built heritage as well as in the concomitant increase of abandoned areas. In this controversial framework of structural mutation of the city urban policies in Europe try to decline the degrowth as a strategic opportunity to invest in green areas in order to increase urban quality and to act simultaneously on the development of local economies. With respect to the above framework this contribution focuses on the evaluation of the effects that the project of new public green spaces have generated on some sample areas on the outskirts of the city of Palermo. An urban context where according to the latest Svimez Report (2019) the phenomenon of urban shrinkage represents a constantly growing trend and on which the new Master Plan operates through a revival of interventions on environmental capital and urban green areas of the city.Settore ICAR/21 - Urbanistica

Bakalaura darba tēma ir uzņēmuma SIA „Gelvora” stratēģiskās attīstības virzieni. Darba izvirzītā problēma ir stratēģiskās attīstības plānošanas trūkums uzņēmumā SIA “Gelvora”. Bakalaura darba mērķis ir, veicot uzņēmuma stratēģiskās attīstības analīzi, noteikt attīstības virzienu ārpustiesas parādu piedziņas uzņēmumam SIA „Gelvora” un uz tā pamata izstrādāt priekšlikumus tālākai uzņēmuma attīstībai. Bakalaura darbā tika veikta SIA „Gelvora” darbības analīze piecu gadu griezumā, sākot ar 2011. gadu. Pētījums parāda, ka uzņēmums ierindojas līderu grupā un ir konkurētspējīgs savā nozarē, taču, lai uzņēmums varētu uzlabot savus darbības rādītājus, tam ir nepieciešams pieņemt lēmumu par stratēģis…

The European sovereign debt market: from integration to segmentation

This paper investigates the impact of European Monetary Union (EMU) and of the recent financial and fiscal crisis on the integration of the European sovereign debt market using annual data 1992–2010. The panel regression dependent variable is time-varying market linkages computed from daily realised correlations between sovereign bond returns for 13 European economies and Germany. The results indicate that the elimination of currency risk following the implementation of EMU led to a fundamental and significant one-off increase in integration. Gaismas piesārņojums mūsdienās tiek uzskatīts par vienu no visstraujāk augošajiem vides piesārņojuma veidiem, kam piemīt negatīva ietekme gan uz apkārtējo vidi, gan cilvēka labklājību. Tomēr Latvijā gaismas piesārņojums joprojām ir relatīvi mazizpētīts jautājums. Bakalaura darba mērķis ir noskaidrot antropogēni radītā gaismas piesārņojuma līmeni divās Rīgas pieostas apkaimju – Vecmīlgrāvja un Sarkandaugavas – pilotteritorijās diennakts tumšajā laikā.
