In the last years the quantity of text documents is increasing continually and automatic document classification is an important challenge. In the text document classification the training step is essential in obtaining a good classifier. The quality of learning depends on the dimension of the training data. When working with huge learning data sets, problems regarding the training time that increases exponentially are occurring. In this paper we are presenting a method that allows working with huge data sets into the training step without increasing exponentially the training time and without significantly decreasing the classification accuracy.

Il saggio prende in esame la complessa questione del riparto di competenze tra Stato e Regioni alla luce del Titolo V della Costituzione in materia di salute e sicurezza sui luoghi di lavoro. Il riparto di competenze tra centro e periferia è stato oggetto di una limitata analisi da parte della dottrina e della giurisprudenza, che si sono concentrate in particolare sulla disciplina del mercato del lavoro. The essay examines the complex issue of the division of powers between the State and the Regions according to Title V of the Constitution concerning health and safety at workplace. This division between the center and the periphery has been subject to a limited review by doctrine and jurisprudence expecially focusing on the regulation of labour market. The Author describes a multilevel system characterized by the presence of national and regional sources collective bargaining and codes of conduct. On the basis of a reconstruction of the regulatory framework and the judicial statements the paper proposes a dynamic reading of the relationship between center and periphery in which the axis of the system remains however anchored to the national jurisdiction along with important regulatory issues left to the regional legislation.Settore IUS/07 - Diritto Del Lavoro

Una nuova acquisizione iconografica per la ricostruzione della tribuna di Antonello Gagini nella Cattedrale di Palermo

La recente digitalizzazione di un dipinto di anonimo siciliano nelle collezioni del Museo de Historia di Madrid e il suo inserimento nei database del patrimonio culturale spagnolo ed europeo ha consentito di riportare all’attenzione della comunità scientifica un’importante raffigurazione pittorica della tribuna di Antonello Gagini nella Cattedrale di Palermo. Dopo avere ripercorso le principali fonti documentarie ed iconografiche relative alla tribuna, viene qui presentata l’opera oggi a Madrid, che fornisce un prezioso riscontro alle fonti fin qui note.

The recent digitisation of a painting by an anonymous Sicilian in the collections of the Museo de Historia in Madrid and its inclusion in the Spanish and European cultural heritage databases has made it possible to bring an important pictorial representation of Antonello Gagini’s tribune in Palermo Cathedral back to the attention of the scientific community. After reviewing the main documentary and iconographic sources relating to the tribune the work now in Madrid is presented here which provides a valuable comparison to the sources known so far.

The study aims to reflect on the training of future primary school teachers by starting from the use of the e-portfolio as an innovative tool to promote the acquisition of reflective and self-evaluation competence within the flipped classroom. The research involved 154 students of Primary Education Master’s Degree Course of the University of Palermo attending to the Docimology course during the academic year 2020/2021. This paper presents the theoretical assumptions objectives and operating methods of a path that made the use of the e-portfolio in flipped classroom to promote the development of docimological skills in higher education. The volume Tommaso Maria Napoli Utriusque Architecturae Brief Compendium 1688 Rome treaty on civil and military factories and preservation of the architecture of the Dominican friar Tommaso Maria Napoli wants to help increase our understanding of the principles that should underpin the realization of civil and military baroque and late baroque period as expressed in the short treatise written by the monk architect born in Palermo Tommaso Maria Napoli (1659-1725) and published in Rome at the end of the seventeenth century. This translation from the Latin of the treaty drawn up by experts (Fabio Zarbo e Pietro Zarbo) included is an interesting research drafted jointly with Giuseppe Tantillo status of some of the architecture without realizing or attributed to the architect Tommaso Maria Napoli. In fact some cards are attached to the volume on the substance and state of preservation of the cathedral of the Assumption of Mary in Dubrovnik (Croatia) of the villas Valguarnera and Palagonia in Bagheria (near Palermo Italy) of the monument to the Immaculate and one of the towers of the church of San Domenico in Palermo (Italy). The Phycosiphon record in the Ladrilleros-Juanchaco section (Miocene, Colombian Pacific): palaeoecological implications

 Miocene rocks of the Ladrilleros-Juanchaco section, located on the NW margin of South America, contain a high diverse and abundant trace fossil assemblage. The relative abundance of Phycosiphon, together with its morphological variations, provides new insights into the environmental conditions. Detailed outcrop stratigraphic, ichnological, and geochemical analyses carried out in the section focused on the trace fossil assemblages (distribution, relative abundance), ichnofabric index, and, especially, in the general ichnological features of Phycosiphon . Origin and distribution of suspended organic matter as inferred from carbon isotope composition in a Mediterranean semi-enclosed marine system

The origin and distribution of suspended organic matter, the trophic features and the stable carbon isotopic composition of particulate organic carbon (POC) were studied monthly in a Western Mediterranean semi-enclosed basin. Sampling stations were selected as a function of wind-exposure and the degree of vegetation cover and then compared with an adjacent unvegetated site. The predominant vegetation was seagrass (Posidonia oceanica and Cymodocea nodosa) and Caulerpa prolifera. AbstractProteomics based approaches are emerging as useful tools to identify the targets of bioactive compounds and elucidate their molecular mechanisms of action. Here, we applied a chemical proteomic strategy to identify the peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor γ (PPARγ) as a molecular target of the pro-apoptotic agent 15-ketoatractyligenin methyl ester (compound 1).
