Il testo affronta lo studio di un’opera giovanile di Giuseppe Damiani Almeyda (1834-1911), figura di spicco del panorama architettonico in Sicilia tra la seconda metà dell’Ottocento ed i primi del Novecento. Il progetto del Gran Caffè, vincitore di prestigiosi riconoscimenti, anche se realizzato quando Damiani non era ancora trentenne, risulta molto maturo e segna una tappa importante nella formazione dell’architetto. LA COLLEZIONE ANTIQUARIA DI LIBRI, INCISIONI E DISEGNI DEL MUSAC A PALAZZO LA ROCCA, RAGUSA IBLA-La costituzione di un Museo di Storia dell’Architettura e della Costruzione nel Mediterraneo (Musac), allestito presso il palazzo La Rocca a Ragusa Ibla, in prossimità del duomo di San Giorgio, dispone di un interessante patrimonio antiquario composto da libri rari, trattati, incisioni e disegni. Tās mērķis ir izpētīt kustību attēlojumu, ko atspoguļo zīmējumu virknē un to plaknē. Balstoties uz izpētītajām tēmām un vizuālās mākslas mācību priekšmetu 9. klasei, ir sastādīta uzdevumu kopa šajā priekšmetā. The Department of Architecture of Palermo keeps some drawings related to the activity of one of the greatest architects to have worked in Sicily in the eighteenth century: Rosario Gagliardi (Syracuse, ca. 1690-Noto, 1762). The importance of the small corpus - coming from a collection already constituted in the 18th century (the Mazza Collection) - is also linked to the fact that the drawings include famous edifices of Sicilian Baroque architecture: from the cathedral of San Giorgio in Ragusa to the churches of Santa Chiara and San Domenico in Noto. The article offers a study about the artistic and eccentric personality of Eileen Gray, the Irish designer and architect. An independent, elusive, secretive figure, that with her creative instinct absorbed the French capital becoming soon, between 1910 and 1920, one of the leading exponents of the new revolutionary theories on design and architecture. Her thoughts took shape through drawings and models with which assumed full control of the material used and her notes, strictly in French, supported the rigor and the harmony of her projects, which made it possible to define her one of the pioneers of the Modern Movement.

In international, Italian, French and German public collections, but also among private collections, there are architectural drawings by the quadrature painter Tarquinio Ligustri da Viterbo, made after 1596 and depicting portals of his invention. This corpus is mostly unpublished and has remained anonymous for centuries. Secondo questa proposta di lettura dell'opera grafica di Dino Buzzati, che può essere estesa anche ad altri autori dal doppio talento, i disegni ai margini della scrittura possono essere interpretati allora nella loro funzione di relazione tra le arti che si risolve in una interazione, una negoziazione, uno slittamento oppure un conflitto, una cancellatura. Inoltre le annotazioni ai margini della scrittura, soprattutto nelle loro versioni grafiche, costituiscono una forma di introspezione autobiografica assai preziosa per ricostruire il profilo del loro autore, se scrittore e disegnatore al contempo.
