PRODUCCIÓN CIENTÍFICA Y REDES DE COLABORACIÓN EN CÁNCER EN EL PERÚ 2000-2011: UN ESTUDIO BIBLIOMÉTRICO EN SCOPUS Y SCIENCE CITATION INDEX
2013
The role of collegiality in the professional development of the teaching career: a proposal for an evaluation instrumentBakieva
2019
This research work adresses the prediction of success after a training scheme (success in university examination, integration of job seekers after a training session) on the basis of 1/ subjective indicators at the end of training: satisfaction or subjective learning and 2/ individuals' variables (self-efficacy, locus of control, self-esteem, optimism and core self-evaluation). Our results show that, compared to training evaluation models, subjective indicators at the end of training do not appear to be good predictors of success. In addition, if individuals' variables are sometimes predictable of success, this seems to be related to the mere fact that they represent high values in students…
Interviews with Community Healthcare Registered Nurses in Norway: Examination Practices and Clinical Evaluation Processes
2021
Abstract Aim This study describes the examination practices and clinical evaluation processes that Registered Nurses in Norway perform in the community healthcare sector. Design A qualitative exploratory design. Methods Twenty interviews were conducted with Registered Nurses employed in the community healthcare sector in Norway. The data were analysed using a thematic analysis. Results We found four major themes: (1) evaluations are embedded in nurses’ daily work, (2) significance of a Registered Nurse's clinical competency, (3) different tasks require various roles and (4) access to resources and equipment. Registered Nurses possess several skills in a range of different examination techni…
Rett syndrome and eye-tracking technology: A brief review
2019
Introduction: Rett Syndrome is a severe, genetically based neurodevelopment disorder caused mostlyby mutations in the MECP2 gene on the X chromosome. One of the supportive criteria for the diagnosis of this syndrome is intense eye gaze with preferential eye fixation on social stimuli and especially on people’s eyes. This pattern of preferential looking has generally been considered a way to make requests and communicate. Materials and methods: In this review we have collected the studies on the use of eye-tracking technology with subjects with Rett Syndrome. The combination of keywords “Rett Syndrome” and “Eye Tracking” was used in a Medline literature search. In order to be included in thi…
AnySeq: A High Performance Sequence Alignment Library based on Partial Evaluation
2020
Sequence alignments are fundamental to bioinformatics which has resulted in a variety of optimized implementations. Unfortunately, the vast majority of them are hand-tuned and specific to certain architectures and execution models. This not only makes them challenging to understand and extend, but also difficult to port to other platforms. We present AnySeq - a novel library for computing different types of pairwise alignments of DNA sequences. Our approach combines high performance with an intuitively understandable implementation, which is achieved through the concept of partial evaluation. Using the AnyDSL compiler framework, AnySeq enables the compilation of algorithmic variants that ar…
Modeling temporal treatment effects with zero inflated semi-parametric regression models: The case of local development policies in France
2017
International audience; A semi-parametric approach is proposed to estimate the variation along time of the effects of two distinct public policies that were devoted to boost rural development in France over a similar period of time. At a micro data level, it is often observed that the dependent variable, such as local employment, does not vary along time, so that we face a kind of zero inflated phenomenon that cannot be dealt with a continuous response model. We introduce a conditional mixture model which combines a mass at zero and a continuous response. The suggested zero inflated semi-parametric statistical approach relies on the flexibility and modularity of additive models with the abi…
Statistical Performance Analysis of a Fast Super-Resolution Technique Using Noisy Translations.
2014
It is well known that the registration process is a key step for super-resolution reconstruction. In this work, we propose to use a piezoelectric system that is easily adaptable on all microscopes and telescopes for controlling accurately their motion (down to nanometers) and therefore acquiring multiple images of the same scene at different controlled positions. Then a fast super-resolution algorithm \cite{eh01} can be used for efficient super-resolution reconstruction. In this case, the optimal use of $r^2$ images for a resolution enhancement factor $r$ is generally not enough to obtain satisfying results due to the random inaccuracy of the positioning system. Thus we propose to take seve…
