Recently, the aerosol microphysics submodel MADE3 (Modal Aerosol Dynamics model for Europe, adapted for global applications, third generation) was introduced as a successor to MADE and MADE-in. It includes nine aerosol species and nine lognormal modes to represent aerosol particles of three different mixing states throughout the aerosol size spectrum. Objectives: The objective of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of self and professionally applied desensitizing agents in relieving dentinal hypersensitivity after single direct topical application. Study Design: This was a randomized controlled trial conducted among 57 patients. 8% Arginine paste was self- applied by the subject and Gluma desensitizer was applied by investigator. Numeric rating scale was used to mea - sure hypersensitivity after tactile stimulus, Schiff scale was used for cold and air blast stimuli respectively. Leflunomide is an antiphlogistic and immunomodulating agent that has been shown to be effective in preventing and healing autoimmune disorders and reactions leading to organ graft rejection. From our preliminary clinical data [4], we now have hopes that these effects, observed in experimental animals, can truly be transferred to humans. Although we are far from understanding the mode of action of leflunomide, we are slowly gathering some insight. This paper presents initial language teacher education policy adopted in Greece and describes a study which examines student teachers’ of FLE (Français Langue Étrangère) perception of their initial teacher education and its contribution to their future professional life. Der Beitrag berichtet uber die teststatistische Prufung und Normierung der deutschen Versionen des EUROHIS-QOL 8 Item Index (EUROHIS-QOL) zur Erfassung der generischen Lebensqualitat und des Wohlbefindens-Index der WHO (WHO-5) zur Erfassung der Wohlbefindens aus Sicht der Befragten. Datengrundlage bildet eine reprasentative Stichprobe der bundesdeutschen Bevolkerung aus dem Jahr 2004. Hintergrund: Die Anwendung eines LapSim®-Trainingsmodells im Studententrainingslabor sowie die objektive Evaluation von Stress in einem virtuellen Operations-Szenario bieten neue Perspektiven der laparoskopischen Simulation. Methodik: Im Studententrainingslabor erfolgte bei 28 Probanden am LapSim® Virtual-Reality (VR)-Simulator in einem Trainingscurriculum, bestehend aus 9 Einheiten, die Erfassung von Lernkurven laparoskopischer Basisfertigkeiten sowie komplexer Prozesse.
