El artículo pretende mostrar la necesidad de emplear estrategias de marketing turístico en la oferta de la Fiesta de las Fallas que tienen lugar en Valencia (España), declaradas Patrimonio Cultural Inmaterial de la Humanidad en 2016. Se desarrolla la teoría acerca de esta herramienta, argumentando las características y capacidades del evento y fundamentando su importancia como pieza clave en el desarrollo del turismo cultural valenciano. Knowledge Sharing Among Tourists via Social Media: A Comparison Between Facebook and TripAdvisor

This paper examines tourists' knowledge sharing behavior in social media. Based on social capital theory, we aim to examine the effects of three dimensions of social capital—structural (social interaction ties), cognitive (shared vision) and relational (trust)—for two different types of social media: Facebook and TripAdvisor. We propose a structural model that connects an antecedent (homophily) and a consequence (knowledge sharing through posting) of these main dimensions of social capital. Teacher job satisfaction across 38 countries and economies: An alignment optimization approach to a cross-cultural mean comparison

Abstract The purpose of this study is to compare latent means of job satisfaction across participating countries in the 2018 Teaching and Learning International Survey. The mean comparison of this nature is sparse in the literature due to lack of cross-cultural construct validity of job satisfaction scales. We applied an alignment approach that can optimize this construct validity to compare the latent mean of 153,682 teachers across 48 countries. We found that Austria, Chile, Spain, Canada, and Argentina form the top countries with highly job-satisfied teachers while the least job-satisfied teachers are from Bulgaria, England, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, and Malta. When implementing a problem-solving lesson, the teacher needs to provide students appropriate guidance during problem solving. This demanding task requires understanding students’ work in progress and giving them necessary help without constraining their thinking. In this article, we share insights from two professional development programs on how teachers guided students’ problem solving and how they reflected on these instances. Recent research in the populism literature has devoted considerable efforts to the conceptualisation and examination of populism on the individual level, that is, populist attitudes.
