A lo largo de todo el periodo colonial, la Universidad de México fue mayoritariamente canonista en cuanto a las preferencias de sus estudiantes juristas. Sin embargo, hemos podido comprobar que para el tránsito de los siglos XVII a XVIII se aprecia alguna diferencia o particularidad, en cuanto que, respecto a algunos parámetros, las referencias sobre Leyes llegan a superar a las de Cánones. La cronología de esta singularidad resulta coincidente con los cambios en la política de nombramiento de las autoridades novohispanas, especialmente para la Audiencia. Este artículo describe los resultados de la investigación llevada a cabo por la Universidad de León, financiada por el Ministerio de Presidencia, cuyo objetivo ha sido analizar cómo reflejan los libros de texto de Historia de España los contenidos correspondientes al período de la posguerra civil y especialmente los relacionados con la represión de la dictadura franquista y la lucha antifranquista. In this article, the author reflects on the associative models chosen by Spanish working and popular classes since the middle of nineteenth century in order to defend their interests, especially in the case of the difussion of culture and education. It is remarkable the continuity and success of some inherited prototypes, as it happened with the «ateneos» until the years of the Spanish civil war. At the same time, workers' organizations tried to satisfy an extensive range of demands by developing multifunctional centres. Examples of these were the «Casas del Pueblo» (People's Houses) erected by the socialist movement.

This paper offers the achievements and lacks of the studies on local power in the ancient Kingdom of Valencia during the XIXth century. The breakdown of the Ancien Regime by the liberal revolution is the point of departure. The process of social change started whith the revolution continued ever after the failure of the democratic experience thet begun at 1868. To discuss these topics (not always shared by spanish historians), it would be proposed the analysis of local cases during long-termed periods and a social approach to politics, specially referred to attitudes and action of lower social groups.

Recent developments in socio-economic research have centred on the key periods of the Liberal Revolution and state building in Spain, focusing on the analysis of specific landowners. This article discusses the theoretical issues raised by this type of analysis. During the immediate postwar years, different voices from the new francoist regime produced a discourse relatively spontaneous but, at the same time, recognizable enough addressed to denounce what they considered as an unacceptable deformation of the Spanishness. ResumenEl trabajo analiza las interrelaciones entre las normas contables y la información financiera que elaboran las empresas y las instituciones y los incentivos empresariales a fin de contribuir al debate sobre el futuro de las Normas Internacionales de Información Financiera (NIIF). Se destaca que las diferencias en las instituciones —y en concreto en el control de la aplicación de las normas— hacen muy difícil la comparabilidad de la información, lo que impide lograr todas las ventajas que podría conllevar la adopción de las NIIF.
