Tra le numerose opere di Jean-Paul Sartre, la monografia del 1943 su “L’essere e il nulla” viene comunemente considerata lo scritto fondamentale del filosofo francese. Quest’opera risulta essere l’esplicazione, o la maturazione, della fenomenologia trascendentale assimilata da Sartre negli anni della sua giovinezza. Among the numerous works of Jean-Paul Sartre, the 1943 monograph on “Being and Nothingness” is commonly considered the French philosopher's fundamental writing. This work turns out to be the explication, or the maturation, of the transcendental phenomenology assimilated by Sartre in the years of his youth.

Nel 1881, quando Giuseppe Sergi pubblica il volume sulla Teoria fisiologica della percezione , sono passati poco più di dieci anni dalla comparsa de La psicologia come scienza positiva di Roberto Ardigò (edita a Mantova nel 1870). Proprio il 1881 rappresenta il primo anno di insegnamento per il cin- quantatreenne Ardigò, come professore straordinario di Storia della fi losofi a nell’Università di Padova, grazie alla nomina del Ministro Guido Baccelli. Il quarantenne Sergi, invece, si trova già da un anno presso l’Università di Bolo- gna come docente di Antropologia.

Carlo Cattaneo belongs to the cultural heritage of Italian history of the first half of the nineteenth century. He is commonly remembered as the promoter of the journal «The Polytechnic» and of the political theory of the confederate and Ghibelline state. Without detracting from these aspects of his thought, it should be remembered that Carlo Cattaneo developed the psychology of the associated minds, as it is found not only in the five memoirs presented between 1859 and 1866 at the headquarters of the Istituto Lombardo di Scienze Lettere e Arti, but also in the lessons he held from 1852 to 1865 at the Lugano high school.
