Introduction and Objectives. We treated a 45 years old patient, suffering from diabetes mellitus since childhood, with retinal, neurovascular and kidney complications. In 1988, for erectile dysfunction (ED) resistant to medical injective treatment, the patient underwent ligation of the dorsal vein of the penis without any result. Abstract Background There is growing interest to research neurocognition as a putative endophenotype for subjects with bipolar disorders (BD). The authors sought to review the available literature focused on relatives of subjects with bipolar disorder (BD-Rels) and identify suitable cognitive candidates to endophenotypes or endophenocognitypes. Scarce studies have focused on the cognitive profile of chronic alcoholic men after long-term abstinence. Thus, we examined neuropsychological differences between long-term abstinent alcoholics for an average of 3.2 years ( n = 40, LTAA; age = 45.55 ± 8.99) and matched for socio-demographic variables with non-alcoholic controls ( n = 39; age = 42.05 ± 11.33). This paper introduces a new architecture for programmable wireless interfaces, aiming at responding to the emerging request of wireless access flexibility and adaptability. Instead of implementing a specific MAC protocol stack, the proposed architecture supports a set of programmable services, devised to customize the wireless access operations according to specific network and application scenarios.
