Purpose: The model drug norfloxacin (NOR)was encapsulated into trehalose (TRH) and hydroxyethylcellulose(NAT) microspheres to obtain a novel gelling ophthalmic delivery system for prolonged release on corneal tissue. Methods: We assessed NOR release from microspheres, prepared by the emulsion-solvent evaporation method. A new in vitro tear turnover model, including inserts containing reconstituted human corneal epithelium (RHC), was designed to evaluate the TRH/NAT microspheres’ precorneal retention time. Oral proficiency in second and third foreign languages in the Danish education system

In this paper, we analyze how oral proficiency is understood in the Danish education system in the three biggest second/third foreign languages taught in the country: French, Spanish and German. We adopt a comparative perspective and analyze how orality is addressed in these language subjects at primary school, secondary school and university levels. We compare the three languages to find similarities and differences, focusing on learning objectives, pedagogical approaches and examination forms, presented in the official curricula for each of the three educational levels. The article takes a diachronic look at feminatives in the Polish language from the sixteenth century to the present day. The authors recall the history of female forms in the language. Referring to pre-war journalism, discussions in the journal Poradnik Językowy [The Linguistic Guide] and the propaganda lexis of communist Poland, they prove that female forms are not foreign to the Polish language. They create a comprehensive list of reasons why feminatives have disappeared from Polish, taking account of both intra-linguistic and extra-linguistic factors. Sistēma sastāv no divām daļām – pie NIPIS sistēmas piesaistītā daļa, kas atbild par pamatlīdzekļu pārvaldi, importu un izdruku, un neatkarīgā SETSUnits daļa, kas ir lietojama uz mobilajām ierīcēm, un nodrošina pamatlīdzekļu un piesaistīto bilžu pārvaldi un pamatlīdzekļu inventarizāciju, kamēr lietotājs neatrodas pie datora ar NIPIS sistēmu. Programmatūra ir izstrādāta programmēšanas valodā C#, izmantojot ASP.NET Web Forms un ASP.NET MVC ietvarus un Microsoft Visual Studio 2013 izstrādes vidi.

Lyme borreliosis is a multisystemic disease caused by the pleomorphic bacteria of the Borrelia burgdorferi sensu lato complex. The exact mechanisms for the infection to progress into a prolonged sequelae of the disease are currently unknown, although immune evasion and persistence of the bacteria in the host are thought to be major contributors. (VF)L’objectif de ce papier est d’évaluer la contribution de la théorie des coûts de transaction à l’explication du choix du mode de gouvernance des activités de R&D à l’étranger par les firmes multinationales. Nous avons identifié principalement trois grandes formes organisationnelles en matière d’investissement en R&D à l’étranger:l’internalisation totale, les alliances en R&D et l’externalisation totale (licences unilatérales).
