Absorption of European Funds by Romania During 2014-2020

2021

Abstract The time span between 2014 and 2020 constitutes a new, multi-annual financial framework. During this time, by negotiating with the European Union, Romania received financing through 5 major types of funds which were part of the European Structural Investments Funds (ESIF) and which were structured in six major Operational Programs, the most consistent of which is POIM - The Major Infrastructure Operational Program (MIOP). Within this financial framework, Romania needs to improve its absorption of funds based on the experience gained in the previous framework, with regards to issues like bureaucracy, corruption, lack of qualified personnel for the implementation of projects, the tra…

Does predictability matter? Effects of cue predictability on neurocognitive mechanisms underlying prospective memory

2015

Prospective memory (PM) represents the ability to successfully realize intentions when the appropriate moment or cue occurs. In this study, we used event-related potentials (ERPs) to explore the impact of cue predictability on the cognitive and neural mechanisms supporting PM. Participants performed an ongoing task and, simultaneously, had to remember to execute a pre-specified action when they encountered the PM cues. The occurrence of the PM cues was predictable (being signalled by a warning cue) for some participants and was completely unpredictable for others. In the predictable cue condition, the behavioural and ERP correlates of strategic monitoring were observed mainly in the ongoing…

Personāla atlases sistēma

2018

Can we increase children’s rights endorsement and knowledge?: A pilot study based on the reference framework of competences for democratic culture

2022

This pilot study is the first to examine whether a novel curriculum based on the Reference Framework of Competences for Democratic Culture (RFCDC) could increase children’s endorsement and knowledge of children’s rights. We conducted a pre-test-post-test design with an intervention and a comparison school. Pupils (n = 172) from Bulgaria, Italy, Norway, Romania, and Spain attended schools in which the curriculum was taught, whereas pupils in the comparison group (n = 120) attended schools in the same city where the curriculum was not taught. Both groups were tested on their endorsement and knowledge of rights before and at the end of the intervention. Children in the intervention group incre…

Poly[[myy-N,N'-bis(2-hydroxyethyl)-N,N,N',N'-tetramethylpropane-1,3-diaminium-kappa2O:O']tetra-myy-bromido-dibromidodimanganese(II)]

2012

The asymmetric unit of the title three-dimensional coordination polymer, [Mn2Br6(C11H28N2O2)]n, consists of one MnII cation, half of a dicationic N,N0 -bis(2-hydroxyethyl)- N,N,N0 ,N0 -tetramethylpropane-1,3-diaminium ligand (L) (the other half being generated by a twofold rotation axis), and three bromide ions. The MnII cation is coordinated by a single L ligand via the hydroxy O atom and by five bromide ions, resulting in a distorted octahedral MnBr5O coordination geometry. Four of the bromide ions are bridging to two adjacent MnII atoms, thereby forming polymeric chains along the a and b axes. The L units act as links between neighbouring Mn—(-Br)2—Mn chains, also forming a polymeric con…
