The ultimate message : a study of medieval tombstones in ducal Burgundy : 12th-16th centuries

The tombstone has long been neglected by historians. As obituaries and wills, tombstones reveal as much the relationship of the deceased to death that the management of their memory by their heirs. This study first shows the wealth of medieval Burgundy graves goods. Typological diversity adds to the richness of iconography with large amounts of effigial monuments. Tombs materialize burial of prestige. Originally reserved for prelates and princes, burial ad ecclesiam progressively extended to the feudal aristocracy and the bourgeoisie. El present treball estudia la relació que s’estableix entre text i representacions gràfiques en les obres de Ramon Llull, fent una atenció especial al recurs retòric anomenat ècfrasi, això és, la descripció verbal d’un objecte visual. S’analitzen casos de descripció de figures lul·lianes, sobretot esquemes arboris, en presència de la seva representació (ècfrasi referencial) o en absència de la mateixa (ècfrasi nocional). The publication of the Normes ortográfiques de l'IEC (1913) and its adoption in the entire linguistic region in 1932 in the Valencian Country with the so-called Normes de Castelló was the result of a process in which differing spelling norms had to be standardized. The author examines in detail the norms used in several popular and dialectic magazines published in Barcelona (La Esquella de la Torratxa), Valencia (El Micalet de Valensia) and Palma de Majorca (En Figuera).
Apocryphal Passions of the Apostles in Croatian Glagolitic Texts

In the course of the Middle Ages, apocryphal and hagiographic texts of The Acts of the Apostles of various origins became part of the Croatian Glagolitic literature. The Passion of Saint Andrew, for example, is documented in the sanctorale of nineteen Croatian Glagolitic breviaries dating from the period between the 14th and mid-16th centuries. The Glagolitic Passion is an abbreviated translation of the Latin Epistula presbyterorum et diaconorum Achaiae (BHL 428) from the 6th century. Mūsdienās, tehnoloģijas ir ienākušas ikvienā mūsu dzīves aspektā. YouTube portāla ieguldījums mācību procesos ir nostiprinājies ar Covid-19 pandēmiju. Šī bakalaura darba mērķis bija analizēt valodas lietojumu divdesmit YouTube prezentācijās par prezentāciju prasmēm, kā arī atklāt, kuri verbālie saziņas līdzekļi un retoriskās figūras veicina prezentācijas mērķu sasniegšanu. Tika izmantotas literatūras pārskata un kvalitatīvā gadījuma izpētes metode. Rezultāti parādīja, ka gan verbālie līdzekļi (valodas vienkāršība, balss kvalitāte, piemēru izmantošana), gan retoriskās figūras (atkārtojumi, retoriski jautājumi, salīdzinājumi, metaforas) ir vienlīdz svarīgi, sastādot runu.
