We contribute to the optimization of the sparse matrix-vector product by introducing a variant of the coordinate sparse matrix format that balances the workload distribution and compresses both the indexing arrays and the numerical information. The aim of the research was to describe the relationship between attitudes toward globalization and life satisfaction and identity processes in the group of young adults. The sample included of 403 people at the age of 19–35 (M = 22.84, SD = 2.81), 219 women (54.3%) and 184 men. The relations were measured with the use of three questionnaires: Questionnaire of Attitudes Toward Globalization (Senejko, Łoś, 2016), Questionnaire of Identity Formation by A. Oleszkowicz, A. In research and in practise social-cognitive models, such as the theory of planned behaviour (TPB), are used to predict physical activity behaviour. These models mainly focus on reflective cognitive processes. As a reflective process, intention is thought to be the most proximal predictor to behaviour. Nevertheless, research suggests that the relation between intention and actual behaviour, the so called intention-behaviour gap, is moderate. Darbā ir apkopota informācija par ekstemporāli pagatavotām zālēm, aptieku vēsturi Rīgā un Daugavpilī, zāļu formām un ievadīšanas veidiem. Bakalaura darba mērķis bija izpētīt ekstemporālo zāļu formu aktualitāti, salīdzināt ekstemporālo zāļu formu pieprasījumu divās aptiekās Rīgā un Daugavpilī 2014. gadā un izpētīt ekstemporālo zāļu formas trūkumus un priekšrocības. Pētījuma metodes: pacientu, ārstu un farmaceitu anketēšana, Rīgas un Daugavpils aptiekas datu salīdzināšana par saņemtajām ekstemporāli pagatavojamām receptēm 2014. gadā. Modeling multipartite virus evolution: the genome formula facilitates rapid adaptation to heterogeneous environments

Multipartite viruses have two or more genome segments, and package different segments into different particle types. Although multipartition is thought to have a cost for virus transmission, its benefits are not clear. Recent experimental work has shown that the equilibrium frequency of viral genome segments, the setpoint genome formula (SGF), can be unbalanced and host-species dependent. These observations have reinvigorated the hypothesis that changes in genome-segment frequencies can lead to changes in virus-gene expression that might be adaptive.
