The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between mental fatigue induced by a demanding cognitive task and impaired physical performance in endurance due to a higher perception of effort. A total of 12 healthy adults and volunteers, who had previously practiced endurance activities for 4 to 8 h per week, performed a one-hour cognitive task involving either the process of response inhibition (Stroop task) or not (visualization of a documentary as control task), then 20 min of pedaling on a cycle ergometer at a constant perception of effort while cardio-respiratory and neuromuscular functions were measured. The FTIR spectra were analysed in the region of the nu(s)(N-H), AI(C=O) and nu(s)(Calpha=Cbeta) bands for a series of Ac-DeltaXaa-NMe2, where DeltaXaa = DeltaAla, (Z)-DeltaAbu, (Z)-DeltaLeu, (Z)-DeltaPhe and DeltaVal, to determine a predominant solution conformation of these alpha,beta-dehydropeptide-related molecules. Reproducing pairs of measurable functions

We analyze the notion of reproducing pair of weakly measurable functions, which generalizes that of continuous frame. We show, in particular, that each reproducing pair generates two Hilbert spaces, conjugate dual to each other. Several examples, both discrete and continuous, are presented.

International audience; The synthesis of functionalized porphyrins and their conjugates from meso-tetraarylporphyrins through the acylation and the oxidation of beta-aminoporphyrins was investigated. 2,3-Dioxochlorins were prepared by the oxidation of a variety of beta-aminoporphyrins and subsequently used in a condensation reaction with functionalized aromatic aldehydes and ammonium acetate to form beta-functionalized porphyrins bearing a fused imidazole ring. Under optimized experimental conditions both reactions tolerate various functional groups and afford the products in an appropriate overall yield.
