Abstract Background: Impaired DNA repair capacity may favorably affect survival in cisplatin/gemcitabine-treated non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC) patients. Preliminary experiences. suggesting the activtty and the good tolerability of the drug on superficial transitional cell carcinoma of the bladder (TCCB) when administered by intravesical route, have been recently published.
