Computational aspects in checking of coherence and propagation of conditional probability bounds

In this paper we consider the problem of reducing the computational difficulties in g-coherence checking and propagation of imprecise conditional probability assessments. We review some theoretical results related with the linear structure of the random gain in the betting criterion. Then, we propose a modi ed version of two existing algorithms, used for g-coherence checking and propagation, which are based on linear systems with a reduced number of unknowns. The reduction in the number of unknowns is obtained by an iterative algorithm. Finally, to illustrate our procedure we give some applications.

Foot-strike and the associated load rate are factors related to overuse injuries in runners. The purpose of this study was to analyse structural and functional changes in runners using floating heel running shoes, compared with runners using conventional footwear. A randomised control trial was conducted. Twenty runners with overuse injuries were followed over a 12-week gait retraining programme using floating heel running shoes or their conventional footwear. Maģistra darba “Rīgas iedzīvotāju izpratne par iekštelpu gaisa kvalitāti un rīcība tās uzlabošanai” mērķis ir noskaidrot vai daudzdzīvokļu mājās dzīvojošie Rīgas iedzīvotāji ir informēti par iekštelpu gaisa kvalitāti un tās ietekmi uz veselību, vai to uzskata par problēmu, vai un kā rīkojas, lai iekštelpu gaisa kvalitāti savā mājvietā uzlabotu. Mīksto kontaktlēcu ietekme uz acī noklīdušo gaismu

Maģistra darbs ir uzrakstīts latviešu valodā uz 43 lappusēm. Tas satur 20 attēlus, 2 tabulas, 34 atsauces uz literatūras avotiem. Darba mērķis bija raksturot mīksto plānveida nomaiņu kontaktlēcu gaismas izkliedi, kad kontaktlēcas ir jaunas un pie kontaktlēcu termiņa beigām. Pētījumā piedalījās 20 dalībnieki. Tika noteikts acī noklīdušās gaismas daudzuma atšķirības jaunajām un lietotām kontaktlēcām. Kā arī papildus tika salīdzināts kontaktlēcu Lotrafilcon B un Comfilcon A materiālu atšķirība. Iegūtie rezultāti bija būtiski atšķirīgi jauno un lietoto kontaktlēcu gadījumā, tomēr abu atšķirīgo kontaktlēcu materiālu vērtības nebija ietekmējošie faktori acī noklīdušās gaismas daudzumam.

Bakalaura darbs ir uzrakstīts latviešu valodā uz 29 lapaspusēm. Tas satur 24 attēlus, 1 tabulu, 21 atsauces uz literatūras avotiem. Mērķis bija noteikt vai zilās gaismas spektra daļēju aizstāšanai ar ciāna spektru ir ietekme uz gaismas pieskaņošanas testa veikšanu. 20 dalībnieki piedalījās pētījumā, kurā veica gaismas pieskaņošanas testu dažādos gaismas līmeņos, to uzdevums bija pieskaņot divus gaismas stimulus līdz tādam brīdim, kad vairs nav novērojamas atšķirības starp abiem gaismas stimuliem. Dalībnieki veica mērījumus 3 sesijās kopa apskatot 45 gaismas stimulus.

Maģistra darbs ir uzrakstīts latviešu un angļu valodās, datorsalikumā uz 48 lapām. Tas satur 34 attēlus, 6 tabulas, 37 atsauces uz literatūras avotiem. Mērķis: izveidot spektrāli maināmu gaismas avotu, kas uzlabotu diabēta radītu tīklenes bojājumu un citu tīklenes struktūru kompjūter-diagnostiku. Metode: Spektrāli maināms gaismas avots, kas ir balstīts uz digitālās mikrospoguļu ierīces (DMD) un modificētas fundus kameras, kas komplektēti ar monohromatisku kameru tīklenes attēlu iegūšanai. Tīklenes attēli uzņemti, gan no vesela pētījuma dalībnieka, gan diabēta pacientiem.
