Operator Revenue Analysis for Device-to-Device Communications Overlaying Cellular Network

Device-to-device (D2D) communications has recently gathered significant research interest due to its efficient utilization of already depleting wireless spectrum. In this article, we considered a scenario where D2D users communicate in the presence of cellular users in an overlay network setup. In order to analyze the revenue of service providers in monetary terms, the paper provides exact expressions of operator profit for both D2D and cellular users. Longitudinal Gait Analysis of a Transfemoral Amputee Patient: Single-Case Report from Socket-Type to Osseointegrated Prosthesis

The aim of the present case report was to provide a longitudinal functional assessment of a patient with transfemoral amputation from the preoperative status with socket-type prosthesis to one year after the osseointegration surgery. A 44 years-old male patient was scheduled for osseointegration surgery 17 years after transfemoral amputation. Gait analysis was performed through 15 wearable inertial sensors (MTw Awinda, Xsens) before surgery (patient wearing his standard socket-type prosthesis) and at 3-, 6-, and 12-month follow-ups after osseointegration. Source data of the paper Ketkar, Gür, Molina-Obando et al. 2022, eLife. We analyzed the behavioral contribution and physiological response properties of first order interneurons L1, L2 and L3 in the Drosophila melanogaster visual system. Data are sorted by figures and comprise either behavioral measurements of flies walking on an air-cushioned ball while being shown visual stimuli, or in vivo two photon microscopy recordings of L1-L3 calcium responses. Mikroorganismu darbība ir svarīgs faktors, kurš ietekmē sēklu spēju saglabāt dzīvotspēju augsnē un mikroorganismu izmantošana var palīdzēt kontrolēt nezāļu augsnes sēklu banku videi draudzīgā veidā. Taču sēklām piemīt aizsardzības mehānismi, kas samazina mikroorganismu ietekmi un palīdz sēklām ilgāk saglabāties augsnes sēklu bankā. Objective To determine the relationship between persistence or change in leisure‐time physical activity habits and waist gain among young adults. Methods Population‐based cohort study among 3383 Finnish twin individuals (1578 men) from five birth cohorts (1975‐1979), who answered questionnaires at mean ages of 24.4 y (SD 0.9) and 33.9 y (SD 1.2), with reported self‐measured waist circumference. Persistence or change in leisure‐time physical activity habits was defined based on thirds of activity metabolic equivalent h/day during follow‐up (mean 9.5 y; SD 0.7).
