Gli indovinelli del Codice Exoniense: giocando si impara

Il saggio prende in esame gli indovinelli in volgare anglosassone raccolti nel cosiddetto Codice Exoniense. Si mette in rilievo la natura composita dei componimenti. Se ne prendono in esame l'elemento didattico, la struttura, il lessico (con particolare riguardo agli hapax e alla loro posizione e funzione nell'indovinello), l'uso dei numeri e delle lettere. Particolare spazio è dedicato agli indovinelli dello scrivere (e del parlare), agli indovinelli a doppio senso, alla giocosità dei componimenti e alla loro fruizione.

This paper aims at showing how integrating the Archive of the Italian Latinity of the Middle Ages (ALIM) into the ILC4CLARIN repository can provide mutual benefits. Il saggio esplora il modo in cui l'autore di Scandi-noir Jo Nesbø rifunzionalizza il mito norreno del dio germanico Týr (e anche alcuni altri episodi mitologici) nel suo popolare romanzo The Snowman (2007). Nesbø adatta questi miti medievali per creare situazioni ed enigmi allusivi e sfrutta il gioco intellettuale del medievalismo per creare un significato semanticamente denso. Numerous lists of the premonitory signs of the Last Judgment and wider narratives focussing on the same motif, which presents variants and articulated typologies, circulated throughout the Middle Ages, both in Latin and in the vernacular languages. Midwives were clearly viewed as professionalized figures in the Mediterranean world of antiquity and late antiquity and they were responsible for women’s healthcare, such as gynecological and obstetrical needs.
