Economia della condivisione e antropologia dello scambio
2017
The article analyses the distinctive economic models based on sharing that proliferated with the rise of web 2.0 (or social web). In particular, it analyzes what sharing means in different contexts (material and immaterial goods, and services) and it questions whether sharing can be seen as a discrete category, different from both market exchange and gift. Finally, the article questions the role of law with respect of these new economic activities.
Ledelse, organisering og nådegaver i menigheter
2021
Published version of an article in the journal: Scandinavian Journal for Leadership & Theology. Also available from the publisher at: http://sjlt-journal.com/ Open Access In this article, we discuss whether leadership and organisational structure can influence and facilitate the use of spiritual gifts in congregations. The purpose is to substantiate a link and give some examples of what this relationship may be like. We argue that leaders contribute to the design of organisational structures and that they apply different leadership styles, which may have implications for the development of spiritual gifts. For instance, we try to show that proactive construction of various arenas; the size …
I doni di Medea. Tra reciprocità e vendetta
2019
Behavioral and Socio-Emotional Disorders in Intellectual Giftedness: A Systematic Review
2022
AbstractThis work systematically reviewed past literature to investigate the association between intellectual giftedness and socio-emotional and/or behavioral disorders. Nineteen studies met the inclusion criteria, 17 of which have children and/or adolescents as participants, and 12 have a non-gifted control group. Socio-emotional problems, such as withdrawal, were found in 3 out of 8 studies; internalizing disorders, such as anxiety, were found in 5 out of 9; externalizing disorders, such as hyperactivity, were found in 3 out of 5. The most investigated comorbidity was attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder. A univocal conclusion on the relationship between intellectual giftedness and so…
The Gifts to Sicilian Sanctuaries from Spanish Viceroys and Local Nobility
2018
In seventeenth-century Sicily, worship, and the devotion that the noble and aristocratic classes in particular felt for the island’s main sanctuaries and the images that were venerated in them, stimulated the production of the decorative arts. Spanish viceroys and vicereines, and noblemen and women, commissioned many objects in order to offer them to the most important Sicilian sanctuaries as a sign of profound devotion and political power. The strong, intense presence of the Spanish nobility in Sicily explains the Spanish stylistic influences, which are manifested in the Sicilian production of decorative art objects, and especially in jewellery, an aspect that went hand in hand with fashio…
The power of the gift: a perspective of political aesthetics
2019
According to Aristotle (Polit. 1253a) man is a “political animal” and his aim is to live in the community. Guided by this Aristotelian premise, I would like to dwell on the relevance of a relationship among individuals as the foundation of a civil society and the building of a political space. Following the Aristotelian perspective, the relationship among people acquires a political value in reference to the Greek word polis (city). Consequently, the adjective “political” indicates an idea wider than usually acknowledged and may refer to space, objects, and overall relationships among people. According to the natural model originally advocated by Aristotle, the urban space acquires a politi…
Networked Analysis of a Teaching Unit for Primary School Symmetries in the Form of an E-Book
2021
In mathematics education, technology offers many opportunities to enrich curricular contents. Plane symmetries is a topic often skipped by primary teachers. However, it is important and may be worked in attractive ways in dynamic geometry software environments. In any regular classroom there are students with different levels of mathematical attainment, some needing easy tasks while others, particularly mathematically-gifted students, need challenging problems. We present a teaching unit for plane symmetries, adequate for upper primary school grades, implemented in a fully interactive electronic book, with most activities solved in GeoGebra apps. The book allows student to choose which itin…
I RUSTICA MUNERA DI CORIDONE (A MARGINE DI VERG., ECL. 2, 45-55)
2022
Within the second Eclogue, the rustica munera offered by Corydon to Alexis (vv. 45-55), while obeying a somewhat conventional plot, reveal a complex intertextual stratigraphy. Unexpectedly, δωροφόροι of di vine rank join the shepherd in paying homage to the ephebe, bringing bas kets full of lilies and a garland of flowers and herbs, to which fruits and branches of laurel and myrtle will be added. The tradition of the rubrics of στεφανωτικὰ ἄνθη, testified by Athenaeus in the 15th book of the Deipno sophistae, allows us to test both the rate of conventionality of the entire ecphrasis, and the variations made by Vergil to the lists of flowers and herbs, as well as Greek poetry as well as genr…
Support for culture via crowdfunding in question: beyond motivations, an analysis of the barriers to participate
2017
In a context of strong budgetary pressure for non-market cultural organizations and of relative slowdown of crowdfunding campaigns in this sector, this reflection aims to provide a critical analysis of these new forms of financial support for culture. After drawing up a state of the art on the levers and obstacles to participation in such financing operations, the results of a qualitative study based on 43 individuals (donors and non-donors, familiar or not with cultural practices) will be exposed to highlight the diversity of misgivings about crowdfunding, beyond the traditional barriers attached to cultural gift, and the paradoxes that these calls for generosity arouse.
