Quantitative colorimetric-imaging analysis of nickel in iron meteorites.

A quantitative analytical imaging approach for determining the nickel content of metallic meteorites is proposed. The approach uses a digital image of a series of standard solutions of the nickel-dimethylglyoxime coloured chelate and a meteorite sample solution subjected to the same treatment as the nickel standards for quantitation. The image is processed with suitable software to assign a colour-dependent numerical value (analytical signal) to each standard. Such a value is directly proportional to the analyte concentration, which facilitates construction of a calibration graph where the value for the unknown sample can be interpolated to calculate the nickel content of the meteorite. Lyapunov graphs for circle valued functions

International audience; Conley index theory is used to obtain results for flows associated to circular Lyapunov functions defined on general compact smooth n-manifolds. This is done in terms of their underlying circular Lyapunov digraphs, which are generalizations of Morse digraphs, by extensively studying their combinatorics, invariants and realizability.

Non-parametric mean curvature flow with prescribed contact angle in Riemannian products

Assuming that there exists a translating soliton $u_\infty$ with speed $C$ in a domain $\Omega$ and with prescribed contact angle on $\partial\Omega$, we prove that a graphical solution to the mean curvature flow with the same prescribed contact angle converges to $u_\infty +Ct$ as $t\to\infty$. We also generalize the recent existence result of Gao, Ma, Wang and Weng to non-Euclidean settings under suitable bounds on convexity of $\Omega$ and Ricci curvature in $\Omega$.

Translating Solitons Over Cartan-Hadamard Manifolds

We prove existence results for entire graphical translators of the mean curvature flow (the so-called bowl solitons) on Cartan-Hadamard manifolds. We show that the asymptotic behaviour of entire solitons depends heavily on the curvature of the manifold, and that there exist also bounded solutions if the curvature goes to minus infinity fast enough. Moreover, it is even possible to solve the asymptotic Dirichlet problem under certain conditions.

Abstract Objective Our contribution focuses on the implementation of a formal verification approach for medical protocols with graphical temporal reasoning paths to facilitate the understanding of verification steps. Chevalley cohomology for aerial Kontsevich graphs

Let $T_{\operatorname{poly}}(\mathbb{R}^d)$ denote the space of skew-symmetric polyvector fields on $\mathbb{R}^d$, turned into a graded Lie algebra by means of the Schouten bracket. Our aim is to explore the cohomology of this Lie algebra, with coefficients in the adjoint representation, arising from cochains defined by linear combination of aerial Kontsevich graphs. We prove that this cohomology is localized at the space of graphs without any isolated vertex, any "hand" or any "foot". As an application, we explicitly compute the cohomology of the "ascending graphs" quotient complex.

Quantum synchronisation and clustering in chiral networks

We study the emergence of synchronisation in a chiral network of harmonic oscillators. The network consists of a set of locally incoherently pumped harmonic oscillators coupled pairwise in cascade with travelling field modes. Such cascaded coupling leads to feedback-less dissipative interaction between the harmonic oscillators of the pair which can be described in terms of an effective pairwise hamiltonian a collective pairwise decay. The network is described mathematically in terms of a directed graph.
