Endpoint Admission Control with Delay Variation Measurements for QoS in IP Networks.

In this paper we describe a novel Endpoint Admission Control scheme (EAC) for IP telephony. EAC mechanisms are driven by independent measurements taken by the edge nodes on a flow of packets injected in the network to probe the source to destination path. Our scheme is characterized by two fundamental features. First, it does not rely on any additional procedure in internal network routers other than the capability to apply different service priorities to probing and data packets. Phyllonorycter delitella (Duponchel) (Lepidoptera: Gracillariidae) è un fillominatore che è stato rinvenuto nel 2004 nelle aree boschive siciliane su Roverella (Quercus pubescens Willd.). Nel presente lavoro si riportano i risultati delle indagini condotte sul feromone sessuale di questo fitofago, sotto il profilo comportamentale, chimico e morfologico. Per analizzare le risposte comportamentali di maschi vergini di P. delitella verso gruppi di femmine conspecifiche in fase di richiamo sono stati condotti biosaggi in olfattometro a due vie. The aim of this work was to do a preliminary seasonal screening of ecotoxicological biomarkers in European sea bass Dicentrarchus labrax in three different fish farms, to know if the different location and typology can discriminate them. A set of selected biomarkers of xenobiotic exposure, such as acetylcholinesterase (AChE) activity, Glutathione (GSH) and gonad morphology were investigated seasonally in male European sea bass D. labrax (L.) reared in three different intensive farms: a land-based farm of cement tanks (T), an in-shore sea cages farm (C1) and an off-shore sea cages farm (C2).
