El artículo trata de desvelar los condicionantes de género en la asistencia médica. Para ello se ha realizado un estudio sobre la fibromialgia, una dolencia muy desconocida, que mayoritariamente afecta a las mujeres, por lo que podría constituir un caso paradigmático de la construcción de género y de los sesgos androcéntricos en la ciencia médica. Los resultados muestran que en los patrones de socialización diferenciales, en los modelos de masculinidad y feminidad y en el reparto de roles sexuales se puede encontrar la respuesta a algunas de las diferencias y desigualdades que surgen en atención médica. Le repérage des patients en situation de précarité par les médecins généralistes

Cette étude se propose d’étudier la concordance entre un repérage de la précarité effectué spontanément par les médecins généralistes et un repérage effectué par le score EPICES (évaluation de la précarité et des inégalités de santé dans les centres d’examens de santé), développé et validé dans les centres d’examens de santé.Les 32 médecins généralistes ont permis d’inclure 207 patients dans l’étude. <p><strong>Background</strong>: Annual flu vaccination of healthcare workers (HCWs) is recommended worldwide as the best way to prevent influenza and to avoid its transmission. However, in several European Countries, vaccination rate among HCWs is still less than 25%. The aim of this study was to determine the HCW vaccination coverage during a three year period in a large University Hospital, identifying socio demographic and occupational variables involved in the decision to accept influenza vaccination.
