International audience; C’est sur un site privilégié, promontoire rocheux dominant la petite vallée de l’Ozerain, et à proximité de l’antique Alésia (à 60 kilomètres au Nord-Est de Dijon) que fut fondée, au début du VIlle siècle, l’abbaye Saint-Pierre de Flavigny. Elle fut l’objet de plusieurs constructions successives, dont certains vestiges, encore visibles de nos jours, nous éclairent sur son architecture à l’époque carolingienne. Plus de quinze ans se sont écoulés depuis les derniers travaux effectués dans l’abbaye, et nous avons pensé qu’il était nécessaire de faire le point sur ce que nous pouvons savoir de cet édifice et de son contexte historique. Background: Anderson-Fabry disease (FD) is an X-linked lysosomal storage disorder which also affects female carriers and has an early onset of symptoms in childhood in both genders. Signs and symptoms are frequently misunderstood and often diagnosis is made approximately 10–20 years after their onset. This has been clearly demonstrated by Fabry outcome survey (FOS) a European database on the natural history of FD and the effects of enzyme replacement therapy with agalsidase alfa (Replagal). Abstract Trade-offs are important in life-history evolution and coexistence of competitors. However, how alternative life-history optima might promote competitor coexistence has received little attention. The rotifers Brachionus plicatilis and Brachionus manjavacas are two cryptic species with a considerable ecological overlap in relation to biotic factors. These species often co-occur in temporal brackish ponds characterised by environmental fluctuations. In these rotifers, sexual reproduction results in diapausing stages, which are able to survive through adverse conditions but constrain current population growth. Explicita e problematiza as configurações textuais e iconográficas que pretendem ensinar uma história do “descobrimento”, da conquista e da colonização da América. Usou-se a metodologia da pesquisa bibliográfica e de campo, com técnica de fichamento e observações analíticas de obras historiográficas contemporâneas, livros didáticos e lugares de memória (museus e monumentos históricos). Otto Neugebauer’s early academic career was marked by a series of transitions. His interests shifted from physics to mathematics, and finally to the history of ancient mathematics and exact sciences. Yet even from his early years in Graz, Neugebauer was strongly attracted to the mathematical culture of Gottingen. When he arrived there in 1922, he quickly established a strong personal friendship with Richard Courant, the newly appointed Director of the Mathematics Institute. Neugebauer and Courant worked together closely up until 1933, when the Nazi government decimated the Gottingen scientific community. Nano-magnetic potassium impregnated ceria as catalyst for the biodiesel production

Abstract The main objective of this work comprises the investigation of biodiesel production from rapeseed oil using potassium impregnated Fe3O4-CeO2 nanocatalyst. The various concentration of potassium impregnated Fe3O4-CeO2 was screened for catalytic conversion of rapeseed oil to triglyceride methyl ester. The 25 wt % potassium impregnated Fe3O4-CeO2 nanocatalyst showed best biodiesel production. Nanocatalyst was characterized by FTIR, XRD, SEM, TEM, BET and Hammett indicator for basicity test.
